Was amazing serve even knew because I requested no potato’s that I had a food allergy!! Never had a service known that from me saying that!! Food was amazing had the salmon and husband had the steak!
Applebee's is nothing like how I remember. It kind of reminds me of when Sizzler was fading out.
Well, I stopped by for lunch. It literally was on 2 ppl inside
I ordered the whiskey burger meal well done & my mother had the chicken tenders meal.
It arrived fairly quickly, but the burger was literally tasteless, I mean, nothing just bland, the whiskey sauce didn't even help it.
The tenders were good, but I definitely wouldn't return to this location in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
The manager was nice ,she did offer something else, but I refused. She did remove the meal from my ticket
And I only took one bite..lol, so know I didn't eat the whole burger then complain. ????????
I must say, I've never been to a restaurant that was this great. I was enraptured by the magnanimous nature of the staff and their willingness to sacrifice everything in the pursuit of the perfect cheeseburger.
All in all, I'm disappointed I can't rate above a 5-star review. This is my only regret... that and not being able to entomb myself in the Applebee's freezer when I die (they said no, but I still love it there).
$24 for an overcooked steak, mushy over cooked broccoli and more than likely instant mashed potatoes.... the food here has gone downhill fast! We won't be returning!
Bartender was super rude, I understand short staffing. You can be nice through it, I work healthcare and things suck but be positive for the patients. Food service should be the same.
I even had to come in from curbside of course I pre tipped, need new staff.
Amazing food, great atmosphere, and the staff were magnificent! The kitchen manager has to be hands down the best I’ve ever conversed with. Very knowledgeable, informative, and ready to assist with whatever he possibly can! Definitely recommend!!
Unfortunate turn on this location. The service was good, the food was as expected, but the entire place smelled like dirty rag and cigarettes. The floors and tables were sticky...I don't frequent this chain often, but was spent my meal uncomfortable with the conditions. The food tasted great, went with bourbon chicken and shrimp and it was exactly as I remember...but I still couldn't shake the conditions and wonder if the kitchen was clean..likely won't be returning.
Our group of 3 decided to eat here for dinner. The parking lot was somewhat full, so maybe an indicator it could be busy. The hostess took our name, and we waited to be seated (about 20 - 30 minutes). Our wait time might have been a little longer than normal, and it appeared they may have been short staffed since there were a number of empty tables and booths, but a lobby full of guest waiting to be seated.
Once seated, we were quickly served, and the waiter was polite and gave us time to make decisions about our meal. Once we ordered it didn't take long to get our meals. There were no complaints about the freshness or quality of the food. Overall, this was a good dining experience.
