sat at the takeout counter with no acknowledgment whatsoever for what had to be close to 7-10minutes, even though I watched multiple servers standing around claiming to be “busy”. I served for 7+ years of my life and I can tell you that it was definitely not what they claim to be “busy”. I get being busy, which I was fine with if that was the case, but the lack of acknowledgment to even see what I needed was disappointing. I had to ask the host myself after standing around if she could check to see if my to go order was ready, and she was the ONLY person to assist. So I give her 5 stars but the rest of the staff seems to lack customer service skills. after seeing all of the other 1 star reviews sounds like this is a consistent issue that clearly isn’t made a priority to be handled. won’t be back, also was missing the sides to my bourbon street chicken. so even though I got take out to make it easier on dinner for my kid and I, here I am still having to make my own sides.
We came in for my nephews birthday on Sunday around 4. The service was terrible. Our server tried taking our order twice. And looked at me like I had 6 heads when I told her she already took our order. Never once were offered refills or asked if we needed anything. Our food finally came out and it was drowning in grease/oil. The bourbon chicken and shrimp. That is our usual and it has NEVER looked like that. We FINALLY got our bill. I gave her my card and she LEFT MY CARD LAYING NEAR THE COMPUTER, UNATTENDED! ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! This was our second visit to this particular location in 5 days. The first trip on Tuesday was equally as poor. You were not busy at all and all 3 of us got COLD food. Not even room temp. Server was damn near MIA. No refills offered, not a stop by the table to see how things were, nothing. Hopefully you can train or retrain your staff better.
I haven't been to the SJ Apple Bee's in years because of poor service. Had family from out of town so I thought I'd try it again...not very happy! I will not go back. Our server was good other than that too many issues to go into detail. Ordered drinks after 20 minutes hadn't received them (we were there about 3:30 so they weren't busy) so I canceled our drinks. Did not receive our food order for over an hour. After issues with our food asked for a manager. She asked if we wanted another entree. We said no because didn't have time to wait. I love to support local businesses but I won't be back.
Raelyn went above and beyond as my server! Such a delight to deal with, she was patient and kind as I took time reading through the menu and sounding out the big words. Once I settled in on my order it was brought out in a timely fashion and she provided service with a smile throughout the whole experience. After my meal my vehicle wouldn’t start, Raelyn came out and offered a hand and jump started my car. She truly was a godsend that day. I hope this makes it through the appropriate channels and management sees what a wonderful individual they have on their hands!
We were seated for at least 15 mins before a waitress came to get our drink order. She just did not write out order down! Both mine and my daughter’s orders were messed up! My daughter ordered a medium rare steak and it was actually burnt. I ordered the Parmesan shrimp steak rare. I received a well done steak no shrimp or sauce. We had no food while our friend ate.. the waitress kept apologizing for the steaks and told us we were not the first that evening to have get our steaks re fired!! I ended up just eating my steak even though it was basically raw because your cook can’t cook a steak!! My 17 year old son can cook a better steak!!! I feel absolutely ripped off paying $85 for that meal!!!
Bad quality food. Slimmy old lettuce in salad I started picking out after I started consuming it. You couldn't SEE the SLIM until you got to the center/bottom of the salad tray. It was literally ROTTEN! Probably what made me sick! The portion size of the noodles was very small compared to if we dine in. Separated noodles from chicken to show the problem in portion size. Took photos to show. Also a couple hours after consuming the food I got sick. AWFUL Cramps in my stomach and gut, and extremely BAD diarrhea. If anyone else got sick from food this day report it to the health department.
I was there tonight for a family birthday, 16 people in our party, I never got my food, everyone was about all done eating, the waitress (that never came back to our table after taking everyone's order and bringing food to the table) came and brought everyone's bill and said oh you never got your dinner?? I told her no, just put it in a to go box. I wouldn't recommend the St John's Applebee's to not one single person. They never even offered to compensate me!
Every. Single. Time. I order Alfredo at the Saint John’s location they never put enough sauce on my noodles. I mean at this point I’m just getting plain noodles and it’s not even good. But then they made me pay for extra sauce but it didn’t even come with sauce… soooo???
