Worst experience of my life… me and my friend came here for drinks an a good time to end our night but ended with a horror story we came at 9:45 didn’t leave til 11:50 we ordered drinks when we was seated we didn’t get them til 10:40???? than when they came the drinks was nothing like the picture they tell us “we ran out of candy for the drink would you like the left over candy from Halloween.?????” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing i politely declined an asked where is our food we ordered at 10:00pm it’s 10:50pm mind you we are the only table there she says oh the cook is moving slow today it’ll be out.. now it 11:15 the staff is arguing with eachother complaining about bus rides and shift times now here comes 11:25 they bring me out a burnt steak that’s weeellllllll over done when I asked for medium rare I couldn’t even cut it so the big back manager comes I said I don’t want it she says all she can do for me is have the cook remake it ???? ok fine tell me why they bring me out my bill with while I have no food lol than 20mins later bring me out another over cooked steak picture in the comments she see it an start cursing the cook out but than just left an this is the manager than my waiter looks like the white girl from hustle&flow saying she gotta get home to her babydaddy an she need to catch the bus before it stops running ???? like how dare you I left hungry an confused I gave her 40$ she came an put my receipt and 3$ on the table an the whole staff disappeared while we was still sitting there didn’t make it home til 1:30am I would never eat here again!
I watch a server clean bathrooms and another server walked over to the bathrooms with a dish asked the server who was cleaning bathrooms to run this dish and the server ran the dish without washing hands. To add to this the bathroom was awful and found this random medical stuff that was opened on the counter..... and to top it off our server never check in on us once I asked for water and had to ask for more water when he brought the bill. This place is a joke and puts peoples health at risk!!
They advertised all you can eat ribsllett on Monday and Tuesday, before I finished my plate and decided to go for the 2nd, the server said there are no more ribslletts. We were there before 5 pm, and the restaurant wasn't busy at all. I doubt that they were sold out. Then the server told us all the ribslletts are still frozen.????...If you advertise all you can eat, shouldn't you be prepared? Not to mention, the silverware they gave me was dirty.
Also, the Ms manager in red shirt was rude too. The manager made us move the tables back while we were eating, She said we were blocking the walkway. But her employees were the one setup the tables.
Great deals, service was fast and very kind. Not a lot of people so we didn’t have to wait at all.
Applebees food is still really good but they are really hurting for help. Our waitress had to run and run. She was very friendly luckily because the greeter acted as though we made her get up off the couch during the last ten minutes of her favorite soap opera to welcome and seat us. (I’ll leave it at that).
We had the AYCE riblet special and they definitely won because our waitress only returned once to ask if we were good and offer to refill the portion. The Fiesta Lime Chicken was excellent, but the value was lost with the special. We love Applebees and want them to be great so we’re not ready to give up.
Hopefully that area gets some good help and it can thrive again. I know they are not alone in this staffing battle,
We stopped in for a late dinner after seeing a movie. We ordered a steak with shrimp meal and a crispy chicken salad. The steak was served warm, dry, and tasteless. We asked the waitresses if it was freshly prepared, and she said "yes they probably just left it on the grill too long." I asked her if she would eat the steak served to us? She responded, "I don't eat steak." The salad served with lettuce with cold, sliced chicken tenders and shredded cheese on top... It appeared to us that stopping in at 10:00pm an hour before the restaurant closed was a huge mistake! Nothing was fresh or served as described on the menu. However, the prices were the same regardless. Applebee's has work to do... The food quality and customer service should be the same no matter what time you visit. I'm not a big fan of Applebee's anyway, and I definitely won't be back!
Melissa J was an awesome server. She deserves a bonus and a raise. She was very polite and on top of things. Food was 10/10. Service was 10/10. Boneless wings were 50 cents and they were good.
If you want a good server ask for Mel she’s there Mondays Wednesdays n Saturdays. Great experience! Restaurant was clean and not busy. Best time to go is around noon !
Haven’t been here in almost 2 years from the horrible service on my last visit. My husband and I decided to return today and to our surprise the service was great. We were greeted and seated right away.And our waitress was very attentive to us.We will be returning now again.
