2024 I visit often, this time with family table for 5. Enjoyable entrees Oriental Chicken Salad, Battered fish, burger, salsa and ice cream. Attentive service. Always chilly inside.
2022 still stopping by for the Oriental Chicken Salad, usually sit at the bar now, service is great there.
2021 Always stop by for the Oriental Chicken Salad when visiting my Mom. Was at this local 2x this week midday. Service very good the first, slow & forgetful of order & specials, assuming server hiring/staffing issues post COVID. Salad as expected, Mom didn’t like either Chicken nugget type meals. Freezing cold AC, ballgames on tv bar, patio set up overlooking parking lot, accessible rest area.
Applebees is not fine dining and I completely understand that. However, when I order food I’m simply expecting it to be prepared as ordered. The last 2-3 orders have been absolutely terrible. I’m ordering and paying for additional sauce but I receive dry pasta. Myself along with fellow employees today ordered from this establishment for lunch and every item was absolutely awful. I have ignored the issue previously just thinking it may have been a bad day. Today it really crossed the line to send out three separate dishes that were completely wrong, cold and undercooked. The manager was understanding and offered a resolution. However no one wants to have to call in and complain about food. Hopefully the cooks turns it around or your establishment replaces their employees.
Terrible service; do not waste your money. My partner and I used to love this place, but for the past year, it has just gone to crap. The last time we came my partner and I were convinced the hostess was drunk (barely able to talk loud enough for us to hear and leaning on everything to keep her balance), and our server implied we were trying to Karen our way into free food and/or attempting dine-and-dash when we were just trying to clarify that we did not recieve what we ordered. We were thinking about leaving some kind of a tip for the misunderstanding, but ABSOLUTELY NOT after they implied we were trying to steal food. We are never coming here again.
Went in after the hurricane. Was thankful they were open even with a limited menu. My steak was very bland, no seasoning. The server didn't tell me there was a charge for bottled water. The manager lady on duty was very good at her job
She was seating people and really has the place under control. The staff did their best being understaffed and busier than usual. I'll be back to sit at the bar with Kelly for happy hour.
Went here last night and had wonderful drinks and food. Ernest was our server and he was outstanding. Never had to ask for refills and had our food out to us in great timing.

Thank God for the hostess being present. Never got refills or waters we asked for. We got our food but aside from the our drinks being brought no on came by or checkedon us. We placed our empty glasses at the end of the table but even when the manager(?) dropped off our food he quickly walked away. I had to stop the hostess while she was doing her job and ask for a box and the check after sitting there finishined for over 15 minutes.
I get it if your restaurant is full but when it's less than half capacity it's hard to sympathize. A little acknowledgement goes a long and to say "sorry" when a guest is leaving doesn't mean much when you ignore them the entire duration of their visit. Yes, people are glad businesses are back open but that doesn't excuse the lack of basic service.
I always enjoy coming to Applebee's. They feed veterans for free on Veteran's Day and do a very nice job. I paid extra for a glass of Cabernet and an awesome chocolate cake and ice cream dessert plus a tip...????
Absolute failure. I got the 3 cheese and mac. It was not up to standards.+ The bread stick was greese logged. The chicken was only drizzle with the sauce. Not tossed. I know this recipe because I was there when it came out.
I worked for this company for 5 years. Server, host, expedite, line cook, prep cook. I know what is supposed to be, and this is completely not it. The management failed. I also did steak, and that too was a fail.
