My neighbor and I drove into Kyle for some shopping and timed it around lunch time because we wanted to eat in a different restaurant. Since Wimberley only has about 5. Neither one of us had been to an Applebee's in a while so it seemed like a good pick. The place was just about empty. I know, bad sign. Should have just turned around then. I ordered the new Bacon Chicken sandwich with Blue Cheese dressing. The only side you get is French Fries. There were no Tomato's and almost no Blue Cheese dressing and the chicken was tough. I forget what my neighbor had. She's a small person and she even laughed at the serving size
The broccoli chicken pasta was amazing!!! Mouth watering actually!! The burger and fries we're spot on!! Service and atmosphere is great. Friendly and made us feel welcome.
Tried their new sweet spicy chicken sandwich and it was delicious. The combination with Cole sole and sweet and spicy sauce was just (chiefs kiss) muah excellent! Service is especially great always welcoming. And friendly. Will always be back to Applebee's 10/10.
This is what you’re going to try to pass off as $18 nachos? Had this same thing 3 months ago at a different Applebees and it was twice the size and actually had toppings. Terrible. It’s the size of a nacho supreme at Taco Bell.
Had a great lunch. We get the two for $25 and it’s a great deal just enough food to keep us going. Staff was on point
One of my favorite dishes at Applebee's is your variety of hamburgers. That is the only thing I order when I go to Applebees's. It is cooked to perfection juicy and just to me the best burger for a chain food restaurant. Keep up the good work and I'll always be back for a burger.
Well, I’ll be! Applebee’s knows how to treat a man right! Came in thirsty, left after drinkin’ 24 glasses of water and still felt like I could’ve kept goin' if I hadn’t passed out. Now that’s what I call quality service. Never had a server keep the water comin' like that. Talk about a dedication to hydration!
And them mozzarella sticks? Heavenly. Crispy on the outside, cheesy on the inside, just like how God intended 'em. Perfect snack for someone who’s workin’ their way through a gallon of water. I reckon this place is a top-notch spot for mozzarella stick lovers and anyone who’s lookin' to test their limits on water consumption.

Had dinner here with my wife and my father both ex-military for veterans day. There was a way that the door with little to no organization except for the manager who would walk by every once in a while and explain that they were busy but he would get to us. After a 30-minute wait which was pretty common we were seated. The server was awesome, but the time from taking the order to receive in the food was more than 30 minutes, but can be expected during busy times. But when we received our food it was the low subpar. My father ordered a medium rare steak, which he didn't even finish due to lack of taste as he let me know. The scoops of mashed potatoes look pretty basic and still had the shape of the scoop. No presentation at all. The same with my wife's food, which is hard to mess up considering it was just shrimp and french fries, but the fries were not the best. Little undercooked, no color and no seasoning.
I ordered a salad, which came out like if it had been made first and then was sitting in the window while the rest of the food was waiting to be made. It was completely soggy and it looked like a bag of salad mix from the store drenched in sauce, completely flat in the bowl. With a piece of chicken on top that was dry but well seasoned. I will say the most enjoyable part of the whole meal was the iced tea. My father having ordered a margarita was less than impressed having a small glass and and no kick.
I can totally understand a restaurant being swamped and getting a little behind but this was definitely thrown onto a plate kind of settings to just pushing the food out. Definitely not the Chili's from back in the day. You can take your chances on you here maybe you'll wind up having a good day from the kitchen for the food.
