Best WLM Reviews
Someone dragged me here unexpectedly, and the reviews are accurate. The inside is run down..They have american flags in every corner and birthday decorations hanging around the bar area. Service was okay…and the food / drinks could be much better! The cesar salad was about $15 & some of the lettuce was turning.
I haven't been to this Applebee's in several years. The outside and inside could use an update. The local pictures of Richmond and local high schools are a nice touch. We had to wait a while for the hostess to greet us, but he was bussing tables and was friendly. My friend and I were greeted by a new waitress, Hayley, who was friendly and professional. We both ordered the Bourbon Cajun Chicken and Shrimp skillet dinners, and each paid an extra $2.49 for a side salad. The Caesar Salad was a good size service and was tasty. The meals came out sizzling hot, but the potatoes were missing. The meals were taken back and redelivered with the potatoes. Everything was still hot. The chicken and shrimp were delicious, and the potatoes were good. The portion sizes were good, and we both brought almost half of our meal home. The manager came by to check on us, which is always a nice touch.
My burger was great! The atmosphere was relaxing! And I had great service from Jessica! She always has a smile and welcoming hello; how are ya? Can't go wrong when you get service from Jess. She follows-up right after the meal is served to make sure everything is great! Thank you AB for being my version of Cheers!
We come here on a weekly basis just because they’ve been so friendly to us over the years. Applebee’s is our go to place during happy hour or any other hour. Kris at the bar is amazing along with Leah, Jess, Didi, Josh and Charleen. They have always taken care of us and make sure we have everything we need. The food has been great and never really ever had an issue. We will continue to come back over the years. We are big fans.
Food was okay at best, I asked for my cheeseburger to be pink, and it came out with almost no pink. The service was the worst part. Our waitress (Jessica) was too preoccupied talking to people at the bar and never asked us how our food was. I wanted ranch for my fries but she didn’t come by to ask how the food was so I didn’t really get a chance. She exchanged looks with me literally while I was eating my food while she was talking to people at the bar.
Honestly, we received great service from the manager and staff tonight. We had a party of 14. They were very attentive once we got seated. The wait was long for seating for our party size, over an hour. The food was all right - good for an Applebee’s! The mixed drinks were a bit weak for our taste, but overall we were pleasantly surprised and happy with our experience.
Everything was perfect! New to the area and Charleen, the bartender, was perfect and made me feel like I found my new home. Jessica, a friendly server makes me want to bring my whole entire family in for a nice meal! Loved it.
Sick and tired of all these restaurants charging more money but always being stingy with food when it comes to takeout, this is a dinner entrée. Why in the hell do I have a value size fry with my meal?? Stop giving small portions just because I’m not eating inside the restaurant. If your going to under portion servings, then charge less for it
