Went in for happy hour with some coworkers.
There was a couple waiting to be seated in front of me when I came in. A couple of employees were standing there and after a couple of minutes sat the couple. I was then finally greeted by the host once they figured out I was not with the couple they just sat.
This wasn't my first time at this location. The service and food is always mediocre. I joined our group after a couple of people had already been seated. The server came by the table to drop off one of the drinks that was ordered and told me I had to wait to order my drink instead of asking what I would like. She also ordered the wrong apps for us, and never brought the water that was ordered.
Otherwise the service was not as bad as it usually is here.
The food is always just ok. Anything other than appetizers (and even sometimes those) is always overcooked and dry.
I ordered 2 smoothies and received 2 random drinks that weren't even filled up all the way. I called the restaurant and was on hold waiting for the manager for 15 minutes and they never came to the phone. I was told that I would need to drive the two drinks back to the restaurant in order to receive a refund even though I paid for delivery. I told them that they could come pick it up or I could send them photos of what they gave me so they could see that it was clearly not smoothies. I decided not to do business with them anymore due to their terrible customer service. Then I went to eat my food and discovered that the "well done" steak i ordered was completely pink in the middle. The steak was completely inedible. I was so disgusted. Literally one of my worst experiences. Lol my wife literally had to cook the food because they didnt do it. They didnt refund my drinks as requested, and now I wish I had a full refund after seeing the quality of food. The whole point of spending $83 is so I dont have to cook or drive anywhere. At this point I'm telling everyone i know do not order here. Waste of money. Food quality is unacceptable. Accuracy of order unacceptable. Customer service beyond unacceptable.
We enjoyed a satisfying Sunday lunch. The service was excellent, and the food was just right! They prepared my steak perfectly rare as requested, and I really enjoyed the mozzarella sticks.
Applebees is my place to go when I need to wine and dine. The food is good, the service is great and the atmosphere is nice. I made many good friends at this restaurant in Pinole
Steak came out very well done when ordered medium rare. They replaced fast and it was great
2nd beer order took over 10 minutes to get.
None of the dirty plates were cleared until we were ready to go. That's primarily why ok rating.
Also, they won't take reservations.
They have a new and much improved takeout ordering system that is far more efficient. The employees are all warm and welcoming when I pick up my orders. I tip big to show my appreciation.
I haven't been here in years, due to poor service and food quality. The service has gotten much better but I think will depend on the server. The food was as expected for chain quality, and pricing was surprisingly low. I'll give it another try but I'm not convinced with the service level yet...
Lives the food, appetizers, main course and dessert and they gave generous amount of dipping sauce too for salads. However, I would rate them 4 out of 5 for the following reasons.
1. We really wanted to try Lemon Chicken from the menu, but after taking orders they notified they don’t have that item. Too sad ????
2. I went on my birthday for which I had received coupon that I could enjoy free Triple Chocolate meltdown with the purchase of other food more than $15, which we did spend more than $50 just on entrees. I even showed the coupon for free dessert to the waitress prior to ordering. Guess what in the climax, she turned down my coupon saying that she didn’t know that the coupon probably just works for online orders, not for dine in orders. I ended up paying anyways, because she didn’t know about this either. ????
I have posted pictures of foods we ordered, each were delicious. No complaints about taste.
