All the draft beer is disgusting. There’s mold in the lines or it’s old. Two different beers taste like mildew. Food was good. Bartender was nice. Said she took the first disgusting beer off my tab, would have went to jail before I paid for it anyway. Paid for the second, didn’t drink it.
Seating hostess attitude was unpleasant. After being seated waited 10 minutes for waitress. When drink order came both were wrong. Appetizer came with beer cheese dip which was consistency of milk. Ordered onion rings with meal got French fries. Waitress never stopped to ask if there was anything we needed or drink refills. Terrible experience, will never visit again
Stopped into the Maysville Applebee’s for lunch with my son last week, we are from Cincinnati. The bartender and manager went above and beyond for one of the bar guests. The care they provided for an elderly man was a class act, they went above and beyond. You don’t see that type of behavior from the younger generation anymore. I was very pleased with my service and food.
Ate here with friends this Thursday. Upon walking in we all discussed the rotten egg smell almost like a bathroom was backed up. The young man serving us was very nice. The problem rests in the food. I had chicken and shrimp with broccoli and ended up deathly ill that evening. Worst stomach pain and issues I’ve ever had. I’m the only one who had grilled chicken and shrimp. No one else in my home is sick, no fever, just good awful stomach pain, vomitting etc. I was prepared for slow service but nothing prepared me for the aftermath of eating there. Called my doctor and followed her advice. Then looked online at Applebees and food poisioning. There’s videos, memes, heck sweatshirts about getting sick at Applebees.
Never again!
Starting off, there was nobody there to greet us. We arrived at 11:30 am. Our table was dirty and the floors were dirty also. They had a total of 5 tables (including us). It appeared the manager and servers were sitting at a table when they should have been cleaning which should have been done the night prior. The music they played was awful. Get rid of the I want to take you to bed music and play some good old 70s or 80s. The servers need to be more present. This was our 2nd time at this location and now I know why Applebee's is failing. The 1st time was even worse.
Due to the lighting in the parking lot being mostly broken, my senior mother fell and injured herself and couldn't get up on her own, a kind lady helped my father get her up off the ground. My father had to go inside and tell someone, and the manager did end up making an accident report. You shouldn't have a restaurant without decent lighting outside, that's very dangerous. She can't put much pressure on her right leg now and had to bandage her knee due to bleeding.
We had dinner with friends and I greatly enjoyed our visit. The food and drinks were so good! Our server was awesome! Very friendly and funny. It wasn't super busy and we didn't have to wait at all for a table. The atmosphere was so cozy and inviting. I don't have any complaints about anything. Everything was perfect! We will definitely be back!!
We had an amazing experience and the food was fantastic, we messed up our online order and Julian was quick to right our mistake, made our food perfect and went above and beyond to make sure the whole experience was beyond expectation! Definitely had the best service!
