When tables are cleaned the workers swipe food from the table onto the seats and leave it. They never clean around the wall areas where the tables are and there is food and who knows what splattered and stuck on these areas. Do better or lose customers!!
Our visit started out ok except for the table being sticky. We ordered our food and the server was very attentive until the food came out and most was barely warm and I had a steak that was ordered to be medium but came out rare. Our server was quick to get it back to the kitchen to fix the issue but the steak came right back out and was still on the rare side. After that we did not see the server again until it was time for our check. It was almost like the server was avoiding us and tending to other tables around us. They did not make sure the steak was cooked ok once it was brought back out and during our entire visit, we did not see anyone that resembled a manager. Once everyone at the table had finished their food, the server finally came back and asked if we needed any boxes and completely ignored the entire steak still sitting on the plate. I pointed out that the steak was still greatly under cooked but everyone else was done and waiting so I did not ask for it to be remade again. We then received our bill and paid without any offer for a manager to try and resolve the issue.
We have never had any issues over the years until now.
The food was lukewarm at best. The server was like a robot and lazy. My friends and I could hear her and 2 other servers complaining about almost everything. It's clear whoever is in charge at this applebees doesn't have a clue how to lead the staff. They all looked unhappy and were more interested in gathering in small groups to complain about each other and not making any money. The dining room wasn't filthy but it absolutely was not as clean as other restaurants. Does this location even have any standards they have to follow? I will not return here. I left as quickly as possible not caring about spending money on basically nothing.
Lacks management. Arrived at 6:30. I’m a wheelchair user and host guy wouldn’t even open the door to let us in. Wife was with me. Server came out but we had no menus or silverware as young guy at host stand didn’t bring them. Food was okay, wife’s fish was not. Before we got our food around 6:55, we saw four employees all walk out back for smoke break. Our server included. Best place for service is back parking lot where employees gather for smoke breaks during peak times. Go to this Applebees if you want, but don’t expect much. Clearly lacks management because employees don’t care. This restaurant has gone downhill since we were last there several months ago.
Today was a bad day for this Applebee’s. Our visit started with the hostess who seated us forgetting to bring us menus. Not a huge deal, but ya know. My hubby ordered the French Onion Soup as an app (one of our absolute favs!). The soup was barely warm and looked so congealed that I didn’t want to taste test it for hubby. We sent this back and didn’t ask for a replacement. Then hubby’s Four Cheese Mac with Honey Pepper Chicken also came out cold with no honey pepper sauce. We also sent that back and listened to our waitress, Cierra, tell my very frustrated husband that he was incorrect about his soup being cold…. So I had to interject, tell her that regardless of what they thought - he didn’t like the temp of the food and to please take it off the bill. Nothing was done for my hubby who sat and ate some onion rings. No apology. No manager checked on us. No one asked how it could be made right. We watched the majority of the staff play on their phones while we finished what we had. I insisted we tip the 20% in spite of this.
Best hostice I've ever seen fast and friendly I think her name was Brittany I belive she deserves a raise for how well she treated us will definitely come back to this establiment again ????
sent in a review to corporate, which they have still yet to get back to me about. But as far as most of the employees, and the service i get on that level, its great. Whats not great is the management and how they treat their employees and guest as well. I wont go into detail on this review, as much as i did directly through corporate, but the management there is very inept in how they deal with and run things there. Never been to a place that had managers that act and treat people the way they do.
The fries were cold, and rough the green beans were the same, and the worst of all they didn’t cook my steak medium rare which is what I asked for. Some how they managed to cook it well done and they overcharged us. The seats were uncomfortable, and the steak was pale, thin, and over cooked.
