The appetizers were decent. We ordered beer pretzel that were as expected warm and soft on the inside and a thicker crispy crust on the outside. Suace needs work. The artichoke spinach dip was nice,, creamy warm and had a few artichoke chunks. The mozzarella sticks were just right, long krispy and cheesey and not that fake cheese either! 1-10 I say 8. The Classic Cheeseburger was adverage, nothing special just a burger and it would have had a better pic if i had left the red onion on!! a 5. The roast beef dipper was a joke sad, they could provide a much better sandwich, a 3. The fries were disappointing, some cooked some soft a 2.5. Our server was excellent! 9. Good for drinks and apps!
I was very disappointed with this place. It was dirty and food was so-so. I ordered the chicken wonton tacos. The wontons tasted old and stale. I also ordered the 6 oz sirloin steak with a salad instead of mash. The steak came with mash potatoes. I sent it back, asking for broccoli and NO mash as per my order. When the plate came back, they has scraped the mash potatoes off and spooned on broccoli.... not appealing at all. The steak was seasoned and cooked well. I definitely will not eat at this Applebee's again.
I came in on a weekday, upon entrance I notice a dead roach, I proceed. The manager was going around seating everyone and checking in. Took about 20 min before I saw a waiter/waitress to order. I ordered fish and chips. The fries were so STALE, it was bad. The fish was okay. I also ordered a cocktail and it tasted like boxed Hi-c juice. Never again.
The riblets were all burned and became very dry and hard. Fries were meh. The salad was decent.
Follow up service disappointing: Have tried this Applebees every few years, hoping that service will improve, but still not happening. Server came by quickly after food was served, but that was the last time we saw her until I walked over to the 2 servers chatting at the other side of the bar. “Calling Server” on the table’s Kiosk needs a server walking by the table to recognize they’re needed. The receipt received after paying was for a different table.
Food and beverage were excellent, and time to deliver meal (on a Monday) was quite good.
Would love my local Applebees to have better follow up service though, but after 3 failures over 6 years, it’s unlikely I’ll ever be back. Just can’t understand why this is the only Applebees that has a constant issue with service.
We were greeted immediately. Staff was friendly, some wore facial masks. Our drinks were kept full. Food was good, except for the mashed potatoes, needed flavor. Save room for dessert. 4 stars d/t table had trash on it when we sat.
We were very hungry so we ordered right the way, 2 appetizers, that never came out.. after 26 min the food was ready and we ‘re still waiting for appetizer.. I asked for a hamburger which they asked me how I want it cook .. I told the server medium well… and I received a medium cooked which was more than half of the meat pink .I returned the hamburger with another server who told us, “ oh I can’t take the plate back, I will let your server know “ to returned the hamburger I have to catch an employee who looks as a manager.. by the time I received the hamburger I wast hungry no more , I left 3/4 of the hamburger. Very bad service I won’t come back ever .
Didn’t have the greatest experience here. First when we arrived, we stood and waited for the staff to come and lead us to our table. Something that’s important to mention is that there weren’t really a lot of people there. Maybe ten guests in total, so it wasn’t in a rush hour or anything like that. However, they never came and after a couple of minutes we decided to ask one of the waitresses if we could just go to the table or if we were supposed to wait. She told us we were supposed to wait, but said she could take us anyway. Wasn’t really welcoming or happy, which really didn’t change during our time there. It wasn’t that she was straight up rude or made any remarks, it just seemed as if she wasn’t interested and that she didn’t want to be there.
One thing I found a little bit weird was that we didn’t get any plates to our appetizer. I don’t know if it’s just here, because from all of my other experiences with Applebees I usually get a plate m if you get an appetizer. I don’t know, maybe it’s different here? I just thought it was weird.
The food was quite good. It tasted good, especially the appetizers, and all of my friends also really enjoyed their food. A part of me thought that the rice I had was a little bit too dry, but I don’t think that it was wrongly cooked or anything like that.
I would give this restaurant 2.5 or 3 stars.
