Literally a horrible experience. I came here and got a simple festive drink, which had a bug sitting on the ice cube ! I’ll go ahead and submit the picture, but I’m not sure how the Server didn’t see it before giving it to me. I drunk it, and I was so disgusted and when I brought it up to the server, he slightly chuckled like it was an important and asked what I would like him to do about it… First and last time going to Applebees I’m very disappointed and disgusted.
The dollaritas were excellent when I visited this place last Friday afternoon! I found this Applebee's layout to be really impressive. It was good that the restaurant has TVs throughout and is rather wide. Due to a shift change, I had two waitresses, and they were both wonderfully kind and accommodating.
First time I've been to this location, they play music I can relate to. Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, the server got to me right away. Jay was a very good server and deserves a raise, I will be back.
Good evening Applebee's in San Antonio right next to the Drury hotel is ???? the service was top tier our server was so on spot what we wanted didn't have to wait long for our orders she took care of all the customers with a smile on her face kept checking to make everything was ok n it was clean the manager name is tim n I want to say our server is Sahara they were excellent I will be dining again n sending business partners there n family n friends it's a great experience thanks for the great service u guys rock
Update: went back and got the same order again. Knew going into it it would lost likely be a mistake. And.... Trust your gut. Chicken tender was either raw or half-cocked, couldn't bite through it nor did I want to try after realizing what was happening. Last rating was a 3, now a 1.
Very unsatisfactory mac and cheese. Tasted more bland than a box of Kroger mac and cheese. The chicken tenders weren't bad, but the whole dish cost 18 bucks? I knew I wouldn't be amazed, but man, what a disappointment.
It's been awhile since I've eaten at Applebee's and since I'm traveling I thought I would treat myself. Wow what a mistake. I got an old favorite the spicy honey chicken and pasta. The sauce was from a jar, no bacon no seasoning not even parsley. The two and a half small chicken tenders looked and tasted like they came from a frozen bag like Tyson, dry no sauce no spice no honey. I even got the shrimp added, gross, small and rubbery I threw them out. Shameful Applebee's that meal cost me 30.00 bucks. Never again.
We ordered the $1 margaritas and they tasted like water and they were room temperature . We decided to get something more expensive so we got frozen and on the rocks margaritas and they both tasted like straight up sugar. We didn’t even finish them.
Service was great though.
Our server was awesome. He’s was great. Food came out in a timely manner.
