Had a great dinner with my husband tonight. Josh behind the bar was our server. He did such a great job! The steak was cooked to perfection and had the best margarita I’ve ever had. If you’re eating at the bar and Josh is running it you’re in for a wonderful visit. Thanks again for the dynamic service.
Went in to have lunch today!! They were packed and short staffed but absolutely killed it!!! Terra is one of the best waitresses i have had the pleasure of having wait on me. She kept a level head and a smile on her face! We will be back!!
Too much grease on the chicken and potato dish. Husband complained his could've had more chicken and his was barely warm.
It was still a good meal and the raspberry lemonade is awesome ????
Wife and I been dropping in about once a month for a few months now. Enjoy a short evening out now and then. Till today. I walk in at 5:25 in the afternoon. The place isn't busy, a few people at tables, a few at the bar. Hostess greets me, I tell her I'll be meeting the Mrs.
Hostess tells me there will be a fifteen minute wait because it is shift change in the kitchen. That didn't make sense, so I ask, fifteen minutes before I can be seated? She assured me I could not be seated before the wait. I just left. Met wife in the parking lot to choose somewhere else to eat.
Pretty lousy service.
Even if unable to provide food right away, I can't imagine a place that wouldn't want to seat you if only to sell a few overpriced drinks. ????
This review would have been lower except the manager Calli, came to our table and sit with us and took a tremendous amount of time listening and truly felt compassionate towards us and agreed food was over cooked and server was less observant than he should have been. Offered to refund our money and we refused. It appears management truly cares and is working to improve the situation 10 stars to Calli
Waitress was very good. The restroom appeared unattended, sink & floor needs to be cleaned. We left an hour after dark without any outside lighting.
It was nice to see some improvement in Durant Applebee's. There's still some room for improvement, but our most recent experience there has been the best in a long time.
The food was good, and cooked the way we asked, and the staff was very courteous. All in all, I would say it's not a five-star experience yet, but they're trying to improve, so that earns them 4 stars from me.
I'd rate the food if we would've gotten waited on! After the waitress made her 3rd trip near our table (including one to take a couple of bites of something) without even acknowledging our presence, much less take a drink order, we got up and left. I guess they sat us at the invisible table. Sad!!!
