Had lunch here while killing time on a layover. We ordered the mozz sticks and boneless wings. Both were spot on and so delicious ????. Gabriel was our server and he did a great job taking care of us.. appreciate him checking on how we were for time and being quick and efficient to get us our food and drinks and check. Definitely recommend stopping in here for a bite.
We didn’t catch our servers name as he was running around bussing multiple tables but was very attentive and friendly to our table! Had a huge, filling lunch: whiskey burger, mozzarella sticks, and chips + spinach dip! Great service for a quick bite before our flight. Plenty of seating and close to D gates
Food was awesome but I received very lazy service and was served by 3 different servers, so I didn’t know who to tip. Was not attended to most of the time I was there but the food was amazing
This Applebee's has an easy-to-find location inside DFW's Terminal D by Gate 11, next to the escalators that go up to the train.
This Applebee's has a pretty good-sized dining room for an airport location and includes a "patio" area (still covered by the 50-foot ceilings of the Terminal). They had a nice mix of tables, booths, and bar-style high tables.
If you're familiar with Applebee's, they offer a full bar, and a nice variety of burgers, pasta, salads, soups, steak, and other comfort food. The menu at this airport location is trimmed down, but still offers a good variety. I found one of my favorites, the baby back ribs and ordered that along with a glass of fresh brewed iced tea. The server did a great job making me feel welcome and bringing refills.
The ribs were in a lot of small pieces rather than the rack I've usually had at Applebee's but it tasted the same, and it was a generous portion. The fries were perfect, hot and crisp.
The "side of slaw" was what surprised me... it came in a tiny plastic cup like what you would use to bring a guest some extra ketchup... Is there a scarcity of cabbage? It held about three bites, but now I can say I ate my side of vegetables...
It was nice to have a substantive meal in a relaxed atmosphere. The employees were pleasant and the music at a good level for conversation.

Had buffalo wings . Sort of the worst i had in Dallas area . Not juicy , just meh.
The place is clean , and not over crowded- thats a plus .
Server was very efficient and kind. He immediately asked how much time we had before we had to board the plane. Got the food and drinks out quickly. The bacon-ranch grilled chicken sandwich was delicious and cooked perfectly. Our server suggested the “good” Cabernet Sauvignon after a brief discussion about the available wines. It was excellent for a $14 glass. Place was clean and relatively spacious for an airport too.
Coming from the UK, this is pretty good fish & chips!! Came with tartare sauce too which was great, also throughly enjoyed the coleslaw and fries. Unexpectedly surprised with the quality.
The food is fair, hubby's burger cheese is ok but my chicken tenders are not tender and just warm, coleslaw not good, fries are pretty good. The service is good, considering they only had 4 servers to serve all the customers in that busy DFW airport.
