First time at Applebees. I had seen a news article about them competing in the food price wars by bringing in a $9.99 sandwich, fries and a drink. You can choose from a fried chicken sandwich, a grilled chicken sandwich, a bacon cheeseburger, a regular cheeseburger or the fake meat burger. I had the bacon cheeseburger, fries and a rootbeer.
Not having been here before I found the curbside pickup and as I was pulling in to the parking space I was looking to see how you contact them to let them know you're there. Before my car was in park, a side door opened and the nicest man with a big smile on his face walked out and up to my window. I was thinking he's confused me with another person. As I went to open my window to let him know this, he said my name and I said yes, and he hands me my food. I'm sure my jaw was on the floor and said Wow, now that's service.
I leave and head back to work. I opened the box to hot, crisp fries which I immediately dug into. No ketchup even needed. Now for the burger.
When I tell you this burger was ½ inch thick I'm not exaggerating. It was cooked to perfection, the bacon crisp, and the fries were hot and crisp. They only serve Pepsi products and I don't care for most so I chose root beer. It was a nice change.
They've definitely won over a new customer, well as long as there is a $9.99 option.
We have eaten there several times and the food and service has been great. Today I tried their fish and chips. I love fish and chips, and it's almost impossible to find good ones here in the desert. Usually they are always too soggy, bland or greasy. Applebee's were spot on. I would compare them to fish and chips in the UK.
Just left this restaurant. One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Ice tea tastes like dirty tap water, the Sierra Mist was flat, the steak was uneatable, and my son threw up from the cold under cooked shrimp. The upside was the potatoes were good and so was the broccoli
This place is well built and has lots of room to host lots of different areas for gatherings and private parties or also can be by the bar and catch the games. But the service lacks a bit and the quality of food here is not all there I just order a basic burger and wings and the burger was just okay tasting and the wings where just way over fried and no chicken in the boneless wings and the drinks where not great tasting so I would not recommend to eat meals there only drink at the bar and maybe just eat small appetizers if they make them right. That's it.
My wife bought this food today and she got diarrhea all day after she ate this food.i want my money back.
I'm all about the "2 for $20". If you go during happy hour appetizers are half off! Definitely worth the savings.
Terrible waiting time to sit you down and bring your food out. Not many servers so service is awful. Don't get me wrong some servers are really nice it just takes forever for them to go back to your table. Ordered the steak and even though I got it medium so it can be a little more tender it was really rough so I didn't eat the steak and I was not planning on waiting another hour for them to give me a new one.
Mayra Cortez was terrible - this is an understatement. She needs to be immediately off-boarded. There is no universe where the way she spoke to me is acceptable. If the server incorrectly charges the customer, you acknowledge the error and correct it. You do not blame the customer. You do not argue with the customer. You do not make judgments and comment about the customer’s education or social class - while wearing a knockoff Tiffany necklace and cheap fake eyelashes. Please be so for real, you have no idea who is sitting at a table.
