Entry point to this restaurant is not from main road but you have to go around the corner to get in. This is an older building by the way it looks. Place seated us fairly quickly, but no one was there either. Our waitress was very slow and not good at follow up service. Another issue was we order an appetizer, and it never came and when she brought the entrees, I asked where the appetizers where she said she forgot to put them in. I asked her to remove them from the bill, as at this point, we didn't want them. We ate and the food was "okay" but not what we are used to at this chain and paid the bill and I didn't look at it at the restaurant (my bad). My wife looked at the itemized bill in the car after about 20 minutes down the road. The waitress did not take off the $18 appetizers! It took 5 calls and 10 days of calling to get that taken care of by the restaurant. They would say they'd take care of it after each call or say the manager wasn't in and that got really old. Found out that not only was staff changing but they were switching managers at the same time. I will say after new manager contacted me it took 1 day to get this resolved. This whole experience has left a very bad "taste in my mouth" by just how poorly this place operated.
Ordered the cluckin chicken sandwich plain, it still had mayo that was clumpy and gross, I wanted to wipe off the mayo with a napkin instead of sending it back but the table didn't even have napkins. Also ordered the bacon burger, tasted burnt on the outside, and wasn't flavorful. The fries were cold. Our server barely said a word to us, and was rude when she did talk to us. We both feel sick as we're leaving. Horrible experience.
First let me say the food was delicious. We never got our bread sticks, but considering how our server was running around like a chicken with her head cut off, it wasn't a huge deal and we weren't going to ask for them a second time.
That being said, we walked in, a party of 2 and were told it would be a 40 minute wait. There were about 6 tables sat in the entire restaurant and, not a single person at the bar. I asked if we could sit at the bar and eat. The girl huffed said "I guess, but you're going to have to wait awhile to get served." We sat at the completely empty bar and after a few minutes were greeted by a very, very harried bartender /server who also told us it would be awhile before she could take our orders. She was so busy she was quite literally running from the kitchen to the tables, while a the other servers were standing around. A couple came in the door and asked to be seated, were told the wait time (again, only about 6 tables sat in the entire restaurant, 4 of them in the bar area). They sat at the bar for a good 10 mins and were never acknowledged and ended up walking out. Other people came in the door and at least 2 servers walked right past them and never acknowledged or greeted them for several minutes. Meanwhile the bartender was running around like crazy and at one point yelled at by another server that SHE forgot a dressing in a takeout order (the same server doing a whole lot of nothing, other than complaining about someone calling off ).
I'm thankful for the service we got from the bartender and let her know our appreciation! Thankfully the food was hot and delicious to make up for the not so great greeting and side show.
Walked in sat quickly but they had the music blaring like it was a dancing club. It appeared as if they were works who were off as they kept walking back into the kitchen. Music was so loud you couldn’t hold a conversation with the person across from you. They had a little kid sitting in the bar area. The music eventually got turned down once the crowd of workers that were off left. Normally a really good experience coming here but by far the worst experience I’ve had here. Very unprofessional!
Place was dead but for some reason the waitress was always busy. Then I guess my tip wasn't good enough so we left extra upon returning for the looks we receiver. 3 people. 3 orders. Bill was 30, left 50. Somehow that's supposed to make sense somehow. I think I'd rather pick my stuff up And eat at home. Not like there an atmosphere at 4 on a Sunday.
You shouldn't make people feel bad for dining alone. Instead of being greeted in a friendly manner, the bartender asked if I was a delivery driver. So I was already feeling out of place. She rushed me to order. The drink was so strong I couldn't drink it so she gave me a glass of water and said to add the water to the drink instead of making me a new one. I've never experienced that from a bartender... I ordered an app and wings. The app was bought out within 30 seconds as she said they were up one. The cheese had formed a film in top and the pretzels were barely warm. Then she brought out the wings and they were cold. My whole experience was horrible. I didn't drink or eat anything. I asked for the check, paid, still tipped her and left.
This was a pretty bad experience overall but I want to start with the good things that happened and move from there to the bad.
The good: Wait wasn't too bad on a Sunday afternoon, sauces and food was tasty, waitress was nice and had good sense of humor, when we were seated at a table that was very sticky, was moved promptly to one that was better (wasn't sticky due to being dirty, just the varnish was coming off of it).
The Bad: The wait time for our waitress, food, alcohol, and regular drinks was very very long. Even while waiting to pay the bill and ask for boxes was incredibly long, the last bit of food we ordered wasn't a flavor my fiance had ordered, I caught a heavily tattooed man behind the area where the top shelf alcohol is held standing, picking his nose and ears and eating it, the Bartender was talking with customers and employees instead of making our drinks (waited until after we got our food to get our alcohol and smoothie), and there was caked on old food on our plates when we were served new food, as well ad the cups had caked on stuff from previous contents. I would have said something while I was there but my fiance has social anxiety and ptsd and doesn't like it when I ask people to fix issues while in store. Could not believe how gross this was and we couldn't finish our last bit of food after finding out about the dirty plates and cups.
I ordered carside carryout on 7-28-2024. Had to drive 15 min one way to pick up. The order total was almost $80 and when I got home , discovered my so called irresistible chicken bowl was missing several ingredients and when I called and talked to the manager, and was only offered a 10% discount or had to drive another 15 min one way to get my entree. They also made me give them the other one knowing they was going to throw it away. Any other restaurant would have offered to refund and or replace the entree. This was a waste of my time and gas and a slap in the face. I will not be doing business with this particular location for a long time if ever. I also forgot to mention that all three orders of French fries were soggy
