It was 10minutes after we sat that the manager (perhaps manager) noticed we had no beverages. We in fact had no one else approach us after seated. I’ll pin looking around there were only 7 other tables of which were all getting their food brought out to them. It’s too bad. The atmosphere is lovely and festive this time of year. Overall 3 stars because the manager was quite nice.
Would just like to say the waitress was pleasant and done a good job, but no fault of her own couldn't help me. I wanted a sandwich but was not able to get one as I can not stand a brioche bun. I didn't want a lettuce wrap. So just for corporate information not everyone wants a single flavor of bun . Maybe you should actually carry an option. If not there a lot more options of places to eat !!!!
My husband and I came to eat during lunch hours. We were seated right away but it took probably 20 minutes to get drinks. From what we could tell it looked like they had the manager, and two servers for the whole restaurant. I think our servers name was Teri, she was incredibly nice and did what she could to get to us as fast as possible. We felt bad she was so busy and Applebees was so understaffed. She had our table and 8 others one of which was a 10 top. There were several people complaining and one table even left. Hopefully that Applebees will hire some more people to help.
What an absolutely disgusting place. Here right now the coldest waiters. Pretty typical10:02 they shut music off. Can hear kitchens. Chris throws workers around so much and wonders but acts the so superior.
I’ve watched great people be demoted. Food can be good … why such rude rush … yup close at 10:00 came at 9:45. No discretion for customer. Des the manager is the same
We stopped in at 1:45 order the hamburgers that was a special of the day. Not bust just a couple of tables. Ordered our drinks and burgers. Took my drink back as could not drink it had a chemical taste bad. Got a different drink. The same. We waited 45 minutes after we ordered and no food no one coming to check on us. And definitely not busy. Went to pay for drinks and told waitress we have waited 45 minutes for your special. Do not want to wait any longer. Went to pay for drinks and she went to slide my card then didn't said pop on the house. So terrible to be ignored if they would have been busy and they came and said food would come shortly. But not the case just ignored.
I don't believe this is the 1st time I have reviewed this restaurant but I will say that last time I wasn't impressed. That wasn't the case today, both the food and Staff were great. Kat was my server's, her happy attitude and pleasant manners were what made my dining experience the best though. Even when faced with a complaint the gentleman some seats behind me couldn't be as geumpy as he wanted, because of how she handled it for hom. Watching other Staff and how quickly, and efficiently people were being served and cycle through the Lunch rush I didn't see anyone, customer or Staff who looked like they didn't want to be there...Happy Veteran's Day...my faith in our Red Wing Applebee's has been restored...
I have been to many Applebee's locations and never been impressed with the food or atmosphere UNTIL NOW!!! The appetizers and entries were totally unexpectedly delicious, our server was great and always on the ball offering me my last ice tea to go. This was truly top of the line service. And, the atmosphere was perfect, not too dark or light and pleasantly quiet. We had the bourbon chicken and shrimp, bourbon steak, chicken won ton tacos and the appetizer sampler, all of which were beyond expectation! Plan on seeing us often!
Food was not good at all. Only giving it a 5 star because our server Megan was very positive and patient with my elderly family members I came with tonight. They had a smile on their faces the whole time whenever she came by our table. My grandmother Edna is hard of hearing and says "huh/what" constantly when talking and Megan didn't try to rush her or get antsy with her.
