Best WLM Reviews
I'm not sure what was going on there last night (Monday), but the bartender seemed very focused on a guy with a southern twang instead of focusing on the rest of the bar customers. He also had a "babysitter" come in I guess and a 3 year old kid running around the restaurant. I don't know if she might have had a crush on him. The manager seemed out to lunch. At first thought he was a disheveled customer. Certain nights this place is on, but other nights it is a train wreck. I also got a bourbon chicken & shrimp, but it was the worst I've ever gotten from an Applebee's so not sure if they just had the crack and cocaine addicts back in the kitchen on that night. Let's try to focus on customers even if they don't have a southern or country twang.
Food was good and the server we had was attentive at first but slacked off when we were ready to leave. Prices are high
Never ordering over the phone for takeout again. Had a robotic person taking the order and in the end even tho it repeated my order correctly my steak was cooked rare rather than medium rare and one of my sides were completely off. Now i can deal with the side being wrong since i should have checked it first but there's no way i would have seen the steak cooked unless cutting into it on the counter.
Pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. Service was prompt and excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience. Chambersburg location on Wayne Ave.
The strawberry spinach salad sucked. You don't put onions on this salad. You can surely afford more than 3 small slices of strawberry. Your salad is 15.49. Talk to Applebee's on Hershey Park Drive. Theirs is excellent. If you follow your menu the salad dressing is not balsamic.... Do better !!!!!! This restaurant used to be excellent. It was always packed. Surely must be the management trying to cut back !!!!
I asked for a WELL done streak, fries and broccoli. My fries came poured over top of my food for my to go order. I cut into my steak and it was medium rare. I'm pregnant so I can't even eat the steak. My fries were soggy from absorbing the broccoli and steak juice.
2/16/22 Food was good. We were there for my son's birthday. I wish the staff had been more attentive. Most places sing or offer dessert for birthdays, but I guess Applebees doesn't. Kinda disappointing
Update3/17/23
Food was fresh, delicious, staff was dressed up in their green, very festive, staff was great, had Alise, she was very sweet. Hands down I'll be back. I was just here last month for my son's birthday and it was a great experience then too.
This restaurant was clearly not busy and the kitchen seemed to be scrambling to put put any food at all. When I got my food my wings were cold and they didn't taste good at all. Overall not a great experience and I'm not sure I would recommend.
