I was honestly pretty disappointed. The chips and salsa looked great but really just weren't good at all. The French onion soup was an eh. It was not hot, the bread had soaked up the majority of the liquid which kinda ruins the whole soup aspect, the cheese was too thick, but it had a good flavor. I got riblets, but I can't judge to harshly on those I guess... I didn't eat very much of it... However, I did LOVE the broccoli, but I'm biased on that account. The Mac and cheese was fine. As for the service, well it wasn't the best. Our waitress was polite and all, but she wasn't very attentive. There were only six customers in the whole restaurant, including the two of us, but she still spent almost the whole time in the back and rarely came to check on us, even though she had said that she would be right back to check if we needed anything. All in all, not a great experience.
Our server was amazing! So quick, very friendly and had his hands full but we still felt important and was served on time. He was a gentleman named jay j! Great server!!
Waitress and the hostess was amazing. The food was all over cooked we ordered a medium rare and got a well done steak and over cooked veggies.
Our dining experience was awesome. Our wait time to be seated was under 1 minute, and the hostess was pleasant. Our waiter, Nash, was amazing! Knowledgeable, personable, charismatic, and courteous. Based on menu items we inquired about, he made spot-on suggestions of drinks and dishes we might enjoy. He personalized our visit, kept everything professional, and was super efficient. Our food was delightful and so was our visit! We highly recommend this Applebee's and if you are lucky, ask to be seated in Nash's section. You won't be disappointed!
I went to dinner with my mom and my niece who is young and we sat outside. The waitress was a friend of my moms and we had a really good time. The manager brought us out our appetizers and asked how we were doing and he seemed to really care. Be fore warned though: do not order a blackberry daiquiri: I was literally spitting seeds and it was really hard to drink. As we were closing out our bill, the waitress took off the daiquiri because she noticed I was having a hard time drinking it. That's was very nice of her and very good customer service.
Ate here on my birthday. Had the Whiskey Bacon Burger and the new Impossible Quesadilla Burger (plant based burger). Both were excellent! You can get any of their burgers as an Impossible burger. Got a free desert for my birthday. Had the Sizzlin' Butter Pecan Blondie - WOW!
Tonight my wife and I came in to get some dinner, we came in at about 8:30pm and were sat at a table with Jay as our server. We decided to get the 2 for 25. She got the cheeseburger with cheddar and I got the chicken and lime. Boy was that a mistake. The rice that came with the chicken and lime was like eating a bite of sand, it was so beyond dry that I even tried pouring some salsa that came with our spinach dip on it and it was still so dry it was inedible. The corners of the chicken were extremely burnt/charred and dry, The only good part of that dish was the tortilla strips.
My wife’s burger was so beyond burnt that she didn’t even eat half of it and the fries were cold and limp. She didn’t even touch the fries.
Our server seemed to try and ignore us after I tried to bring up the issues, he ignored me and ran away. Finally I asked for the manager and he wasn’t much better. He came out and picked at our food as if we were lying he asked “well have you ever had the chicken lime?” In an extremely rude tone. No I hadn’t but I’ve had rice before and I can’t tell you for absolute certainty it’s not supposed to taste like that. It tasted like rice a roni with no seasoning that sat in a pan for 8 hours.
Anyways, the manager told us he was the one cooking and acted offended when I brought up these issues. He said he’d do something about it.
Our server jay brought us a new check and he only took off 2 dollars..
I’ve never been so disappointed in a dining experience. I will never be coming back, and honestly save your money and go some where else.
I came into the restaurant tired and hungry. Left relaxed and satisfied with a great meal and very good service. It was busy but the wait staff did a great job.
