It was once one of my favorite restaurants in Dodge City, but currently customer service and food quality is not good. Last night was my last experience where I ordered a sirloin steak and they served me chicken. They served me dessert before lunch. Really a total disappointment. If you look closely there are tables which almost an hour dirty and nobody conditions them for the next customers. I do not recommend this restaurant
The food was beyond amazing but the best part of the night was our amazing waitress Selena C. She was very sweet and respectful. She came to check on us frequently and even brought us extra drinks before we even got the chance to ask. On top of that she told us to have an amazing night and said God bless us. I often go to Applebee's in Dodge and I don't often get great Service. I hope Selena sees this and if you do thank you so much for the amazing night. Keep up the amazing work Selena!!
Floor needed to swept throughout the restaurant. Ladies restroom smelled of urine. I had chicken strips with the Mac and cheese. Cheese sauce was more like an alfredo sauce. And noodles were drowning in it. On this visit the restaurant as a whole was lacking.
Applebee's, a once-reliable chain, has become a disappointment. Recent experiences highlight a decline in quality and service. A simple order for a ribeye was met with a subpar sirloin cut and dismissive management. A second attempt was met with outright rudeness and refusal of service. It's clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority, and the food quality is mediocre at best. Avoid this location and consider alternative dining options.

We are traveling from Omaha NE to Amarillo TX. We wanted to eat here but my Lhasa Apso was in the car. My heart was hurting at the thought of leaving Leo in the heat So I asked if I could bring him in & keep him under the table. The very kind waiter said he would ask. After a few minutes (which felt like a long time thinking of my poor dog) he came back with YES! since he is small. No sooner had I returned with Leo, the kind young man showed up with a small container of water with ice for Leo. I couldn't say thank you because there was a lump in my throat all I could do was kiss his hand! So, service was great, the food was delicious and the people were awesome!! If we ever pass this was again, this is where we're eating!
Ordered Chicken Alfredo but broccoli stalk ends were turning brown. Sent it back. Went across the street and got a steak which was phenomenal.
A Monday evening in Dodge City isn't geared towards the traveling man. But the glow of the Applebee's sign is a beacon of hope after 9pm. When you're at an Applebee's in rural Kansas, life is pretty top notch. I ordered a long island.. not sure if had froth from the sour mix or soap remnants on the glass, but I drank it down. I ordered 1/2 price apps. Spin dip was standard, no complaints. The salsa looked pretty sad but it probably caught its own reflection and realized it would end its life in Dodge City. That's enough reason for anything to give up and let yourself go, including salsa. I also had the sweet Asian boneless wings. I doubt anyone in the Applebee's test kitchen has ever been to Asia. They were alright I guess. I'm assuming that if you go to an Applebee's in Asia and order something American style they just give you a handgun and a shot of insulin? Seems like something they would do for love of stereotype. Anywho, 4 stars for just being open.
You can be POSITIVE that it will be awful wether you go when they're busy or when there are only a few other tables, they are consistent. My children had finished eating their meals by the time the wrong food was delivered to our table, after another 15 minutes of waiting, my husband and I asked for it be brought out in boxes as there was no point in waiting any longer with small children. This was my steak ????
