I have a closer Applebee's but after meeting friend for drinks at this location...I have a new spot at the bar here. Cody was extremely polite even when I got a bit loud when talking. He was also respectful in thanking my buddy and I for our service after over hearing us talking about our service as veterans. Awesome!
I haven't been to Applebee's 20 something years by Wilton b/c have bad experience. I was given a gift card for my birthday and I have to say I am pleased that I came by Christina Hospital Applebee's. Phil, our waiter was great. He had great choices and great conversations.
Good food and service. This place is a quick comfort food for me.
Service is terrible. She says how over worked and how much the server has to do in the kitchen to make sure the cook does the job correctly. Our drinks were wrong, food served badly no appetizer until after main course was served. She also ran away and tried to bring her manager over for hurting her feelings. We asked the the manager not disturb our meal, so the manager refused to come over. Wow!!!!! A few years ago when I ran manager y different restaurants, I would have fired her on the spot. Jessica is the name of this bad waitress. If you get her, don't bother to stay.
We stopped in for a quick late night bite since we gad a gift card. Our server, Nate, was very kind and helpful with our orders. We decided on the 2 for $30 combo and started with crispy onion rings. They arrived to us quickly, hot and very crispy. We asked for a different dipping sauce and Nate brought us 2 additional choices (thank you for that). Our entrees were grilled bourbon chicken and shrimp and the whiskey burger. Again, both dishes arrived hot instead of sitting in the window waiting for someone to pickup. Also, the chicken is served on a sizzling pan that makes even more piping hot. The burger was juicy and fries crispy. Overall, we enjoyed our selections.
Marsha Marsha Marsha, this manger and Applebees is the worst I have ever been to in my life. She came over very rudely and told us we can’t use a coupon for a free appetizer when it clearly states on coupon that if we spend $15 or more that it is a valid coupon and I even asked the server before we ordered if it is apart of the coupon. Won’t be coming back. Plus we waited 10 mins for a host to come from the back eating food and then had to ask for the server to come out after 5 mins of sitting down.
Everything was great until I ask for another drink, the bartender in to him God's gift of wo.en. started to get my drink ready to make and served the people at the bar. No fair to the people at the tables. Get 2 bartenders to help out so people at tables don't have to wait. Philip was great server. Thank thank you very much
With only a handful of tables in the entire restaurant and waiting almost 15 minutes we asked the hostess if anyone was going to wait on us. She went and got a waiter. We told him we were on a little bit of a time crunch as we only had an hour before we had to leave. We gave him our drink order and we ordered 6 appetizers which we gave him at the same time. Ten minutes later he came back to us asking if he had taken our order yet, WTH?!?! He gets his order book and says, oh yeah I do have your order, I’ll go put it in now. Another ten minutes later he comes back AGAIN and asks about our drink order and still hasn’t turned in our food order!! So after waiting 35 minutes with no drinks and our order not even turned in we left. I will never go back to this Applebees! I can see if they were busy but they had maybe 5 tables in the whole restaurant.
