TLDR: I’ve always gotten exactly what I expected at Applebee’s. The food is okay, the service is decent and the atmosphere is …Applebee’s! If you don’t like Applebee’s, don’t come here, but if you do, you’ll be happy! ????
We ordered drinks to start- a mucho TOP-SHELF LONG ISLAND ICED TEA (Smirnoff, Bacardi, Tanqueray and triple sec) which was exactly as expected, and a TITO'S BAY BREEZE (Tito's, Ocean Spray Cranberry and pineapple juice) which I was surprised to see actually looked exactly as pictured in the menu, and tasted as good as it sounds. The kiddos accompanying us had chocolate milk ????.
We ordered the MOZZARELLA STICKS
(Crispy outside with melty Mozzarella inside, this favorite is served with marinara sauce), which are always as expected. I forgot to take a pic before someone had already snagged one up!
I got the TOMATO BASIL SOUP, which was as expected, and the GRILLED CHICKEN CAESAR SALAD
Crisp romaine tossed in garlic Caesar dressing topped with grilled chicken, croutons and shaved Parmesan- but I subbed the chicken for the option of Blackened Shrimp. It was good! The shrimp were perfectly cooked. ???? ????
The kids got Kraft Mac n cheese and chicken tenders, and both said they were good and as expected.
We also ordered the SOUTHWEST CHICKEN BOWL (Grilled chipotle lime chicken on fresh greens and cilantro rice with house-made pico de gallo, black bean corn salsa and guacamole. Topped with chimichurri and tortilla strips.) It looked better than everything else ordered, and having had the shrimp bowl myself, can attest to the tastiness of the bowls. I’d definitely recommend!
We had Sharkbait as a waiter. He was great and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and was very attentive and friendly. Great and quick service! Delicious food! ???? ????

Reyer A - BEST SERVICE EVER! She gave me the best career advice and helped me decide to dump my deadbeat boyfriend of five years. Never felt better! Amazing food and atmosphere! She made me laugh and I truly felt like family! Best server ever! 10/10!!!
Came in for half price apps, such a good deal! Noah was awesome! He had a few tables but was able to keep up with helping everyone and with great service.
Very good food. Our waiter, Cody, was very kind and attentive. The bourbon street chicken is a DREAM. Check in with Yelp for an appetizer! Prices are a smidge high, but the food was very tasty. Good atmosphere and easy parking.
The food was good and that's about it. I am usually very forgiving when it comes to service people as I fully understand but last night was ridiculous. There was maybe a handful of people in the restaurant yet it took well over half an hour to just get our beverages, one which came with actual trash in it? And when we asked for a new one from a different server it looked almost like a whole new drink than the previous one(what did we have before??). After we got our food (maybe after an hour/hour 15?) We really didn't see much of our waiter which made it difficult to ask for more drinks. He comes back with our checks and we place our cards down and he takes them, he had them for a very long amount of time. This is the thing that drove me absolutely insane, he walked up to a table near us showed that table all of the cards he had (ours included) and asked that table which card/cards were there's... this man took our cards and trusted this other table to not take our cards.. then he vanished for another 15 - 20 minutes? We all started to panic, he finally comes back and the asked us which ones of the cards were ours we tell him and he's gone for another uncomfortable amount of time but maybe that was just because I was panicking. I'm also pretty sure I was not billed correctly but I just wanted out it was 10:30pm and the price wasn't that off from the original check.
I had Emily Brown as a server and she took amazing care of me, she checked on me multiple times, gave me updates on food/drinks, was very polite and respectful and even exchanged a few jokes with me. Overall she did amazing and I will definitely ask for her every time I come in!!
