So I called this location at 1030pm to see what time they closed I was told 12am. So after a long day at work all I wanted was to grab a salad and a glass of wine, as i pull in at 11:30pm and parked and turned my car off a lady comes to the door from behind the bar and locks the door. If I would have known that the door would have been locked at 11:30pm I would have went someplace else. Now it is 11:35pm and I am out of dinner and a drink….. I know it was late but if the person that answered the phone would have said they close the doors at 11:30pm I would have went elsewhere… It would be appreciated if the hours of operation were correctly posted and the staff were aware of there hours of operation…..
I did the car side to go...I ordered my food through the automated phone ordering when I called to place my order. That was great and convenient. I ordered the Hand breaded fish an chips. And my order was confirmed. What got was a piece of fish that was way
to salty..the breading was gummy..thick and mushy. It was put in a container the was to small so everything was squeezed in there. Fish and chips are small pieces of crunchy fish. This was pretty disappointing. If they didn't have what I wanted I should have had the option to choose something else. I threw the fish out and ate my fries. I wasn't up to driving back to get a refund. One thing that was an upside is the young lady that brought me my order was very nice..the service was prompt as well.
Absolutely terrible. I get that it was a busy Friday night and the place was bumping, however, the fact that I placed the order around 5:40pm and didn't get to leave with my food until 6:53pm is just ridiculous. It was 3 appetizers. 1 order of pretzel stick, one order of mozzarella sticks, and 1 order of chicken quesadilla. Website said this would be done at 6:13pm. Finally the server brings me a bag, missing an entire appetizer when there were only 3 items! I have her take it back and she corrects it. Now I live 5 minutes away, food was ice cold. Would leave 0 stars if I could.
I was feeling nostalgic and decided to order from here. Placed my order online for Cardiff to go and I get the notification that my food would be ready at 7:45pm. I leave my house and arrive at 7:58. The sign outside says Carside available until 9pm but 8:25 rolls around and no one has brought my food out. I go in and wait another 10 minutes before an employee acknowledges me and brings out my food - apparently there’s only one person but the dine in area isn’t even full and no one has brought anything out in the 30 minutes I was waiting.
Get outside and my order is missing pieces so I have to go back in and wait another 8 minutes to be acknowledged and the order corrected. It was so bad with employees
just standing around and chatting that I called just to speak with someone to have them bring my missing items…while standing in front of them and the phone just rang. Never tf again. 50 minutes waiting to pick up a to go order that was supposed to be ready before I even arrived. I mean, I know the prevailing view is that chains are trash, but no need to prove them right in this manner.
UPDATE: Came back to give them another shot and the food was phenomenal and the service was amazing. Patrick was very friendly and made us feel very welcome!
Came with my wife and son. We sat down and waited for a little over 13 minutes for a server to get us drinks and such or even acknowledge us. After ordering drinks and food we waited an additional 41 minutes to get our appetizers which came out cold and UNAPPETIZING... after waiting another 22 minutes our food finally came out only for all of it to be cold and look sloppily thrown onto the plate. After eating our food we had to wait an additional 27 minutes for a new server to come to our table to help us pay. (We had 5 separate servers the entire time we visited) once they finally came we paid and left. Extremely disappointed as this was our first time out at an Applebees and it was such an atrocious experience. It was not even that busy... Buyer beware save your money and go elsewhere...
Decided to give this place another chance after not being there for a year or so what a bad decision that was. Faith was our server and she was great, however the food was mediocre to say the least. Steak was like rubber and not cooked to order, did eat most of it because I was too hungry to wait. If I could give a negative rating on cleanliness I would! Table was sticky and the cups were not clean! Saw the manager 1 time as his under staffed ran trying to control the dinner rush and he only checked on 1 table glad he did not come to ours.
Good bang for your buck. Food isn't anything amazing but for the price you get what is expected and I have never really had a bad experience at Applebee's.

For going around 3pm on a weekday I was disappointed in the atmosphere. There was only a few other people around but they sat us at the bar area where they had some sort of lottery or gambling going on the tv with customers swearing and gambling with my 4 year old close by. Not the restaurants fault but I would suggest sitting younger kids away from a bar setting next time.
The waitress didn’t know what she was doing.. she didn’t get our order right.. it took her 3 go around for her to get our food and it still was wrong ! Not to mention she never brought out a dinner for one of the party that was with us.. the party had to ask for the food to go since he never got his food until it was time to go.. the party watched EVERYONE eat while he wait to eat.. never got his food, requested to speak to the manager who was not trying to hear what we had to say.. he literally asked us when we mentioned that the party never got the food “well did you ask her when she came by for the food ? Have she been here since we noticed she never gave us the food.. I was in deep shock because he was not professional… there was never a time he said okay I appreciate you letting me know and I’ll take care of it.. there was never a APOLOGY from him at all.. not even a I’ll figure it out And I apologize for the confusion.. over all they was HORRIBLE!! I wouldn’t recommend them to my dog ! Manger there sucked !!! And the waitress don’t even know her job title..
