The hostess first tired to set me in a folding table booth with a whole side and bar opened. Yes, the table was a folding table. I ordered Sangria and the flies kept coming by. Table was sticky feeling. I did not receive a napkins. Steak was barely cooked. Pretzels were salty and cheese look dried and tasted like squeezed cheese.
Returned to Applebee's Prince Frederick, our table was cleaner this time, and the food was okay. We had to wait to be seated so we thought they were busy, not a problem for a Friday evening. But, what we saw were many open tables that were unbussed. There was no hostess available and we never saw a manager. Our waiter was attentive but when our food arrived we had no flatware and had to wait for flatware from the dishwasher. When we did get flatware it was wet and so were the napkins. No additional napkins were provided, we had to ask for some.
Apparently this place needs better management, and staff training.
The food was okay, but a little pricey.
The atmosphere needs some help. The place needs a serious update. We had to wipe the seat back before we could sit and they are uncomfortable. The tables are showing a lot of surface dirt as well as the benches.
We love our local Applebee’s! The restaurant is always clean and well run. The food is served hot, fresh and always delicious! The service is prompt and professional- ty Mel:) we come back here again and again for a guaranteed great meal on date night.
This was our second time in two weeks last Saturday. The first time service was slow but we were acknowledged we were there. This time one section was closed and we had not a very clean table. The hostess cleaned the table and we sat. We sat and sat. 10 minutes later we walked out. I sent corporate a not so nice email explaining we will NEVER be back. They said someone will be contacting us. ???? Still waiting so I can tell them we will NEVER be back. They need to clean house and start over.
Ridiculously small amount of meat on my overcooked ‘sirloin’ sandwich. Burgers were equally undersized. Arby's or Roy Rodgers have 5x the amount of meat on their beef sandwiches for 1/3 the cost. Overpriced garbage. Too many local options for this place to still be in business
I recently visited on a Saturday night and had a pleasant experience overall. I decided to sit at the bar and enjoyed a few mixed drinks along with a chicken quesadilla.
The bartender was extremely attentive and accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed throughout my visit. They were friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable about the menu and drink options. Their excellent service added to the overall enjoyment of my dining experience.
The atmosphere at Applebee's Bar and Grill was lively, with a welcoming ambiance that created a comfortable and enjoyable environment. The music was not too loud, allowing for easy conversation.
Overall, my visit to Applebee's Bar and Grill was enjoyable. Went in and ordered the all you can eat, I got the Double Crunch Shrimp, the shrimp is definitely not double crunch, and was cold along with the fries. Ask for a second round of the samething in hopes that the next round would be warmer but NOPE cold shrimp and cold fries, the waitress then said she would bring us out another batch of fresh fries and they were cold too. I then ordered the garlic parmesan chicken wings. They were fresh and hot. I even had to blow them to cool them off a bit. Very disappointed in the service and the food. And never got a second refill on my drink even though the waitress told me twice she would bring me one.
I personally will not be visiting this location again. Me and my coworker have been here twice this week. After we were seated our server “Melissa” came by to get drink orders while we waiting for our other guest. Once our guest had arrived we waited approximately 20 minutes for her to come by again to take our guest order. She was very rude, would not look you in the eye when we spoke and sent a NASTY Facebook message to my coworker on her personal account once we left, frustrated we did not tip her. As a server, it is EXTREMELY unprofessional to be texting your customers complaining that they did not give you a tip.
