Our food was good! I got the ,quesadilla burger, which is a solid 7/10 and the fries were soo good. My husband got the south west chicken bowl 8/10 he says it was way better then he expected from Applebee's and would definitely order again. Service was fair, not wait to get seated. To be fair to the staff it was busy!
We arrived with a larger sized group and the staff were very accommodating and made room for us. The meal I ordered was very unexpectedly spicy and without missing a beat, the kind hostess/waitress replaced my meal with something I enjoyed very much.
We really appreciated their service after a long day and will go back again when we’re in the area.
Our server was awesome and kept everything straight. Food took a very long time to come out. Everything was good but portions were small. Kind of random but the overhead lighting gave the menus a weird glare and they were hard to read.
Took my son for lunch this week for Mommy Son date. We were greeted warmly and pretty quickly. There were not a lot of people which was nice. Everything was good until started eating my food which was lukewarm. ( 4 cheese Pasta with BBQ chicken ) The bread stick I ate half went to take another bite and there was plastic inside it. The plastic cut my gums a lil near my tooth. And the waitress acted like it was normal. She didn't even stop walking she said let me go get someone, no one ever came and she brought me a new bread stick and knocked off my sons 6 dollar meal ????????????????♀️ no apology, nothing. Thanks for the 6 bucks but I just chewed on cooked plastic and it cut me. I was super annoyed but my son was with me. So I paid and left super unhappy and annoyed. Honestly a genuine apology could have truly turned my experience around. All about how we treat customers... especially when they're paying for a meal. So I definitely will not be going back to this Applebee's ???? turned me off for sure.
I ordered two appetizers for lunch.The chicken wonton tacos were excellent (be sure to squeeze the lime wedges provided over the tacos for a nice flavor boost), and the boneless buffalo wings with a side of extra wing sauce was also very good. Service couldn't have been better. UPDATE-1: They missed the mark this time. The boneless buffalo chicken wings were a little overcooked and the sauce was too mild. And, the chicken wonton tacos lacked the tangy flavoring I remember them having in the past. The service was very good. Decreased my rating from four stars to three.
Hostess and waitress were great. Fun to talk to. Manager would not turn on air conditioner. Closed the blinds. Too warm. Appetizers came out after 20 to 30 minutes. Salads served. The salad dish was filthy outside and inside. Dinner was another 30 to 40 minutes. My dinner was gross. Macaroni and cheese with three tenders.With a pepper jack sauce. The mac and cheese was cold and watery. The sauce spilled inside the dish. The chicken tenders were sad. Smaller than an adults finger. Every chicken wing were hard and over cooked. I would never to go back. If I could have left I would have. But we had a party of five. Three of the five did not feel well once home. Spent 142 dollars for microwaved reheated food. Waitress was awesome and worked hard. Never again.
WAY TO GO APPLEBEE'S. The location on Erie Blvd in Syracuse, NY went above and beyond today, Veteran's Day. The food was good, hot and delicious. Restaurant was full but no wait time. The service was fantastic. Super friendly, attentive, courteous and kind. Lots of staff and all were pleasant. A truly wonderful experience.
Service was horrible. Have never felt that uncomfortable with staff. No wonder the place was empty to be honest. Not friendly at all.
Food was not great either. Asked for medium steak and it was incredibly rare (and I love a nice medium rare). This was very undercooked. Would have probably looked past it if the staff was nicer, but this added to the bad atmosphere.
