Went to Applebee's in McComb for 1st time. Place was BUSY!!! But, we were seated promptly. It was very loud in the restaurant bc of soo many people talking. I had the Chicken broccoli alfredo...which was very good. My husband had the Southwest chicken bowl... which was also very good. Server was very friendly but not knowledgeable abt my husband's Celiac disease (allergic to gluten).
I’m here with my friend here now . We ordered steak but I couldn’t eat because I never tried like this steak this is not a meat feeling mmm I can say stone!!!!!!!!
This time, the food was amazing ????. Last time, not so much. However, the manager followed me to my vehicle with a gift card if I came back. Reluctantly, I would with my husband in tow. We got an app and 2 entrees, and I got a mixed drink, so it was a bit over. The food and drink were so great we did not mind paying the difference at all. Sadly, they had a new manager. He came out to greet us and help me find a plug-in for my oxygen machine. From the hostess, waitress, and manager, everyone was kind to us. We will be returning soon!! ????
On Tuesday, Sept 3, I had the Fiesta Lime Chicken and the chicken was very tough. I could have cooked it a little more but it was supposed to be cooked already. I have had this dish before and it is delicious. Unfortunately this time someone was in a hurry and didn't make sure it was up to par.
Missed the crowd. Ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger And the Spinach Artichoke Dip. Delicious !
Look... I don't expect much from Applebee's, after all it's a chain restaurant that is just one step above fast food. But the food is usually good, consistent... and they are open late. Still... this location utterly fails. They close at 12am and we knew we were pushing it arriving at 11:15, but previously we arrived even later at a location near home; and they made us feel welcomed and unrushed. At this location the made last call at 11:40! WITH 35 CUSTOMERS IN THE HOUSE. Who does that? We managed to get another round ordered. The two drinks arrived with the check, no offer of dessert or even a question regarding any needs. Other high points include having to re-explain the order, none of the menu beer actually being available, filthy bathrooms, and the broom sweeping while we were trying to eat. This location needs to be bulldozed and restarted from the ground up. Then 10 minutes after close with other people still eating, they dimmed and turned up the lights... I'm not making this up.
This was the best Applebees experience I have ever had in my life. The wholelottabacon burger lives up to its name. It had bacon in the burge, cooked on top of it under the cheese, and then you can see the bacon on top too! My only complaint, if you can call it that, was the bacon sauce was almost the same thing as the spicy Asian sauce they put on the wings. I was not expecting that. But love that sauce so it was good for me!
For $10 I don’t see how you can beat this. It’s so good.
Customer service, like always at this location, was amazing. This is the best Applebees I’ve ever been too.
The server was so incredibly sweet and knowledgableg and helpful. The prices were unbelievable and the food was better than great!!! It was DELICIOUS!! our meals were brought to us within 15 minutes and our appetizer took less than 5!!!! We would go back tomorrow if it weren't so far!! A very memorable meal!!!!! ????
