Best WLM Reviews
We stopped at Applebee’s for a late dinner after seeing the Circus. My husband had an 8oz steak that was cooked to perfection. I had the bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. It was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Our 8 year old had a cheese pizza with a side of Mac and cheese (zero complaints from her as well). The service was outstanding! We were seated immediately and our server was absolutely delightful. She was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The place was clean and wasn’t too loud. They had plenty of high chairs and booster seats available for the little ones. The bathroom was well kept and stocked. The only thing that’s a little off putting is the location. It’s difficult to locate the entrance to the parking lot. You have to turn into the car dealership next door (an Audi dealership) and cross over to the Applebees lot. We had to turn around and go back because we couldn’t find the entrance the first time. Aside from the obstacle course/entrance everything was great. We will definitely return next time we’re in the area.
We usually like Applebee's but this time it wasn't so great. Me and my husband both got the mac and cheese honey pepper chicken pasta. The chicken was good but the past and cheese sauce was not good. It had no flavor and was very watery. We tried to still eat it but didn't even eat half the plate of noodles. We also kept having to remind the waiter to bring us things that we needed like straws and silverware and he was also supposed to bring my daughter the rest of her fries and never did. I usually don't make a big deal out of stuff like this but we just really wanted to enjoy a nice dinner.
We were treated badly here in this Apple Bees. The waitress that served us complained to her spouse who didn't even work there about not getting a tip. I know it's expected to leave rip at the table but it's not required. That person yelled at our guest cursed everyone and embarrassed us. When we complained about it to the manager caddy she said that it was not the waitress's fault. They all treated us differently because we looked like foreigners. My uncle paid the bill for everyone and he came from the UK so he didn't know about the stupid rules here. Anyway, people here don't know how to respect their customers even though we didn't pay a tip. We ate dinner for around $300 so please get it all sorted out. Sorry, that your employees are going through so much that you forgot to train them. If you all respect yourself, please don't go to these apple bees. They all were racist. We felt so embarrassed in front of our guests.
Server wasn't very attentive and we waited a while for food, check, and to get our card back. But the food was pretty good aside from the mac and cheese.
I do my fair share of reviews and since COVID has hit and up until now the odds are that if you go out to eat anywhere as a rule of thumb now you can't really go to many restaurants and get good service and or food. I have been to many Applebee's and unfortunately had the very same luck. You leave a review and they holler let me make it up to you and then they really show their true colors, which means they will just talk and then not do anything.
I do have to say that I have finally found an Applebee's that seems to care about their customers. It couldn't have been better. Jenn H. was our server and she did a fabulous job. If you go there ask for her section. You won't be disappointed. The Bourbon Street Steak was delicious. I highly recommend it. I do recommend this restaurant and this server in particular. If you get the same service and care that I did, it will help make your evening great.
TO GO ORDER: Me and my husband went a couple days ago and we really couldn't afford it but we wanted just some kind of little tiny treat for months of sitting inside trying to save money and $32 later we got six boneless nuggets apiece. I got him extra hot and I got me the mild and neither one of us could tell whose was whose. They were overcooked and under sauced. We both are pretty upset with ourselves that we chose Applebee's to be our one place to finally be able to find a little treat and treat ourselves to something tiny that makes us feel good. It did not make us feel good in the end we felt like we were robbed. 6 tiny boneless wings. To be honest they tasted like something you would get frozen. It isn't just Applebee's. My sister went to McDonald's and had the same problem and nephews had spent $82 at Taco Bell and Subway, nobody was happy in the end and we all wished we would have just bought some damn groceries and cooked OURSELVES. It would have been so much better!!! extremely better!!! You do not get what you pay for anymore.
Unimpressed by management on duty for evening Sunday 10/6. She was rude and inattentive. Waiter was friendly. Food was okay. Service was slow waiting to be sat for 1 and until leaving the restaurant.
Food was good and timely, set at the bar and wasn't busy at all . Bartender was more about talking to other people to take order or fill cups . But was all around pretty good.
