Never again! Went in for Saturday lunch with my wife and daughter. Had 1 hour and half before we'd need to be out the door. Appetizer came, good. Food never came. Everyone else around us had food served long before us even though we'd arrived far earlier. Food never made the table. Had to have them hurry and box it so we could make the game after 1 hour and half. Then, the bill... $68!!!! Two adults and a 10 year old. My daughter had a lemonade, waters for us. So overpriced. Then, the take home... I think there's fries in there? Mini amount. My daughter ordered no broccoli chicken Alfredo. Guess what? Broccoli! We had to eat our very subpar, $68 dollar meals cold and old. No compensation was offered from the server for the purely crappy experience at that time. (See update)
We ordered burgers well done. Both came out still very pink. Waitress was upset about it and she took them back and had rhem re make them. When we got them they were looking more like smash burger instead of a normal burger and you could tell kitchen was mad they over salted both burgers. Made them nearly impossible to even eat half of it. Waitress was super sweet and made sure everything was going good for us. Best part was her.
Burger was supposed to have sauteed onions, they were raw crispy. Queso was cold , fries didn't seem freshly cooked either... Just disappointed in the quality

Our server, Val, was amazing! The perfect patron margaritas are so good! Great food, great service, great date night!
Stopped in for dinner, hostess was pleasent and polite. Waitress was good as well, gave us the run down of specials and deals. Food was prompt and quick. Over all food was decent and the service was good. We been here a few times and definitely will be back.
This is a location that's close to where my girlfriend and I work, so we have been going here for years and I cannot think of a single bad experience. It's easy to think that this is just part of a chain franchise so this location should behave like a chain franchise. When you step inside, you're likely to notice murals on their walls of students from the Angola school district playing various sports. From conversations I've had with servers, many of them are local. This is definitely a very community driven location. For the food, the wait times have never been more than you would expect. Food always comes fresh and hot; taste is great. Everything is pretty fairly priced. Servers have always been fun and super nice. If you're a person who reads multiple reviews before trying out a new spot, there's a reason so many people mention Mckenzie here by name. Highly recommend if you want good food without breaking your wallet
My friend and I were just passing through the state and I had a craving for the Blondie. Honestly I could have just gone for this delicious dessert. Food was decent.
Although my friend and I liked having time to catch up and chat, our server only took our order dropped our drinks and never saw them again to order in the Blondie.
Props to the gentleman in the blue shirt who came to put in our dessert order and delivered it as well. Thank you good sir.
We had to get our own drinks. My husband went up to get a second drink waitress stated that she did’t realize he wanted another drink. 3 drinks total he went and got. Had to ask for plates and silverware. Waited about 20 minutes for her come and take our order. People came in after us and had their food before us and left. Came once to see how we were doing and asked if we wanted our bill. Her name was Jasmin S in Angola Indiana
