The restaurant offers great food and a pleasant environment. The wait time is never long, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, zooming around the restaurant and refilling drinks. As a vegetarian, I can't speak for the meat section of the menu, but I have no complaints about the impossible burgers.
We decided to have a late lunch at Applebee's and found the restaurant to be conveniently located with plenty of parking space and even a drive-thru option. The establishment was clean, and the wait staff, as well as our servers, were friendly and accommodating. We were promptly seated, and the ambiance was what you'd expect from an Applebee's – comfortable and inviting.
For starters, we ordered the chicken wonton tacos and the tomato basil soup, both of which were delicious and flavorful, setting a promising tone for the rest of the meal.
Moving on to the main course, we opted for the 8oz steak and the blackened Cajun salmon. While the steak was slightly overcooked and dry, it still had good flavor. On the other hand, the salmon was cooked perfectly, showcasing its natural flavors and spices.
Overall, our experience at Applebee's was positive, with tasty starters and satisfying main dishes, making it a solid choice for a late lunch.
We met an awesome person named Liz that works here. She was very polite helpful and positive. We love to travel and meet like-minded good people. God bless my friend thanks for a great experience We will be back.
Saturday night multiple cooks called off evidently. Wait times were very long. We did eventually get our food and it was good.. The only thing that salvaged the visit was the effort put forth from the 2 waitresses literally running back and forth serving food... mixing drinks.. probably cooking and cashing everyone out. They maintained their professionalism and apologized profusely for the wait. My suggestion to the manager would be when you have cook staff that can't be bothered to work. Make the decision to close the drive through and serve the people who invested their time by coming in. Someone inconvenienced by a closed drive through isn't nearly as upset as a family waiting for an hour and a half inside.. Amber and her coworker were great... get them some help before you lose them.. if it wasn't for them we wouldn't be coming back.
Well, myself and the group I was with had an unfortunate situation with the Applebee’s at 3007 Curtice Rd., Northwood, Ohio 43619. We were seated promptly and our two waitresses, Cynthia and Dakota were delightful, taking our drink orders and bringing them right away. When we were about to place our dinner order Cynthia informed us that they had no french fries to serve and that we could either substitute another item or upgrade to waffle fries for an extra $2.99 (a ridiculous price for a substitution like this, I might add!!!). We said that was unfair to charge us an upcharge for the waffle fries given that it was their fault that they didn’t have any french fries to serve. We were’t interested in the other side options and asked to speak with the manager. Well, after a longer than neccessary wait, the manager, Skylar, finally makes his way over to us. We told him that it wasn’t fair to upcharge us for waffle fries given that they were out of regular fries. The attitude that he gave off was that of a manager that had no real managerial skills in resolving customer problems and it appeared that he couldn’t care less if we were satisfied or not. Now, I’ve worked in food management and It seems to me that a good manager would have resolved our issue one of two ways. One, comp the upcharge for the waffle fries or two, send someone over to the Meijer that is right across the parking lot and buy some fries to serve, paying for it out of petty cash! Skylar, is clearly not a very resourceful manager with virtually no people skills and is in desperate need of additional training! As a result we left Applebee’s and went to their competitor, Buffalo Wild Wings and had a great meal and far better service. It’s needless to say that I likely won’t be returning to Applebee’s as there are far to many other options for a good meal with great service than to have to settle for amateur hour with, quite frankly mediocre food, at best.
Celebrated a birthday! Fun atmosphere. Free sundae. Food was great. Won ton tacos are my favorite!
Won't be back here, Ribs tuff and cold , twice,, I told the waitress no pink on my burger , it came out pink , fries were old and cold , management needs replaced,, BEWARE ????
Great dinner. Food was delicious, restaurant was very busy, waiter was great.
