Worst experience ever. Cheese dip was cold, margaritas were completely watered down. The only good thing was the server we had. She was the best!
First time in Ulvade and most local places were closed or about to close down, Applebees was open and so glad we went there for dinner! Service was nice and friendly. Restaurant was clean and nice vibe. Both my husband’s and my entrees were hot and fresh and didn’t have too much of a wait time. Ribs were amazing! Got brownie bites to go! Thanks! We’ll be back!
There was nothing good about this place. Been there 3 times thinking maybe it will be better…. But just keeps getting worse! The food was sloppy and my broccoli tasted like dirt, did they even wash it?! They still charged me for the disgusting, sloppy loaded mashed potatoes and dirt broccoli! The service was just as bad as the food! The waitress was so out of it and stupid I don’t know where they get these people from. I know this isn’t going to put them out of business, but come on people, get it together!!!!
Our waiter was new and forgot to add in half our order. My burger was undercooked in the middle burnt on the outside with the burned ring of grease on the outside. My wifes steak was overdone, it took 2 hours for my kids meal to arrive. Server didn't card for alcohol and served clearly underage kids alcohol. Only good thing was that the manager stepped in and took over. All in all if it wasn't for the fact this place is the only other place in town I wouldn't go back
I rated 4 stars....this restaurant has 5 star potential.
The food was good...just needed a minor adjustment.
The onion rings tasted good but there was a bit too much grease on the plate when it came to the table.
The restaurant was clean, but also needed a couple minor changes.
The front door had fingerprints all over the glass...not a good first impression.
There were napkins on the floor, and employees walking by them were not picking them up.
The background music needs to be something everyone would enjoy while dining.
Finally, the service was poor.
Our hostess was nice and seated us promptly.
She took our order and the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time.
After that it was downhill with the wheels off.
We didn't know who our server was because no one checked on us.
There were five servers dabbing in a booth together, and midway through the meal, I had to walk over to them because they were not paying attention....
It may sound like I'm being overly critical,
But I believe when I am spending my hard earned money dining out, I am paying for the entire experience,
not just the food.
My advice to Applebee's is to streamline the service.
People vote with their feet...they may not complain or submit a review...they may not come back....
It took 14 minutes after being seated for my drink order to be taken. When time for a refill, it seemed like waiter forgot about me. He finally arrived and when asked what took so long, he claimed that the crew had to do some cleaning before he could get my tea. Not a busy night. Plenty of crew on the floor. Edit: he took 10% off for the tea being slow. I guess that's a good trade.
I made an online order and I got the mushroom swiss burger but since I am vegetarian, I substituted it with the Impossible patty but received a beef patty. I also ordered a ceasar salad with chicken tenders but received grilled chicken instead. Please pay attention to the online orders more carefully!
My salad and food and alcoholic drink all was served at the same time. My pasta was cold as if it was made before everyone else's food. The server only came to our table when she had to. When ordering our appetizer she explained to us about the mozzarella sticks and their pricing so we went with the 12 sticks ... just for her to come back with 8 and ask oh did yall order the 12? ... well you are our waitress and don't even know what we ordered . She never checked on us or refilled our drinks. She acted as if she didn't want to be there. She was more worried about being on her phone and eating.we also had to hunt the waitress down to get to go boxes for our children and get our check.
