I haven't eaten at an Applebee's for a long time and they used to be consistent with good quality food options. Sadly however things have changed and it was an overall disappointing experience. The food was mediocre, not much by way of presentation. The chicken wings hardly had any sauce on them and when we asked for more sauce, it was very different than what was on the wings originally. Good size portions but no real care in putting together a pleasing looking meal. The saving grace of the restaurant was the staff the hostess and our server Jesse were both lovely. Jesse was friendly and attentive, and quick to respond to any of our requests.
My food was delicious (bourbon shrimp, chicken and mash) I would have preferred more mushrooms. Unfortunately, my partner's pasta tasted a little off to us both as the sauce seemed extremely oily and it gave him a bit of a upset tummy. We also asked for mozzarella sticks after debating and deciding against trying the artichoke dip but the server misunderstood and put the dip on order. Not a huge problem as it was delicious. The wings were great. My first margarita, one of the ice cubes had some weird brown mush inside the actual cube. My partner swapped with me and we left the cube on the plate to be taken away but the server only said, eww, when she saw it. However, I really appreciate the foot grabber for the restrooms.
This is my local Applebee's and I've been in here several times. It's an Applebee's. There's nothing great or bad about it, but expect food to take an hour unless it's a weekday. I suggest going during rush hour or after 9 for half priced appetizers. Try the quesadilla burger, cheese sticks or bites, and the mountain dew berry bash. It's an Applebee's exclusive and it's incredible. I wouldn't suggest the bourbon burger. There's a barbecue sauce on it that just ruins it.
A good semi-formal place to eat out late.
Stopped in to have lunch. We had the special, pick 2 for $10.99. I’m on a special diet and my mom is currently on chemotherapy so we both were able to find something on the lighter side. Savannah our server was exceptionally accommodating. We loved our lunch but also our service was equally great!
I haven’t been to Applebee’s in years, so I decided to give it a whirl since I was staying next-door at the Hampton Inn. I walked in around 1015, and your closing time. The restaurant was pretty empty. Aside from a few people at the bar. I had to push a drink over so that I would have a space to sit at the bar seeing as it has not been cleared from previous guests. Not sure where the bartender was when I walked in but I waited a good five minutes before she showed up. Once she was there, Lily was great! I had half price Asian wings with ranch that were really good. I also had the sirloin which was a little on the top side, but flavored well. The potatoes and broccoli were excellent with it.
The garlic mash, dinner salad, and cheese sticks were good but the steak was supposed to be medium well done but it was well done, which made it a little dry. The drinks were good but they tasted like a virgin drink.
Siwajibu A, she was the girl behind the bar when we visited. WOW she was so kind, nice and smiley! Honestly I don’t find a good waitress very often but this girl rocks!!!
Also, FYI it did kinda smell dirty when we walked in but that can be resolved if everyone comes together and changes mop water at end of night and use more cleaner then the protocol says to use and change the mop heads! You’ll be all good then. But anyway siwajibu A should get a raise for all her hard work. You can tell she’s not fully appreciated for all her hard work.
I came in for a to-go order for myself knowing I was going to have to wait a little bit. The staff was friendly and smiling but when I was allowed to give my order I was told to wait till a person who was able or allowed to take my order directed me toward the back of the restaurant toward a different till, at which time I gave my order. I gave my order and then I proceeded toward the front of the restaurant again but then I turned around and headed toward the back of the restaurant again and ask them where I should wait, I was then told that I could sit in one of the chairs in the back or outside. I asked in my order if I could get an extra ketchup and a side of jalapenos to go with my meal, I realize I should have checked but to my disappointment after I had made it a ways from the restaurant that they had not added the jalapenos or ketchup. These details may seem small to others but to me the jalapenos are what made the burger better than what it was which was a good burger to start with to be honest but I always eat my French fries with a lot of ketchup. Don't get me wrong, the food was very good I'm going to stop was friendly with the staff seemed unorganized
