I recently went to Applebee's here in auburn while waiting on my trucks oil to be changed at Walmart. First thing I saw was a dirty diaper in the parking lot. (Real cool whoever did that) I went in and waited probably give minutes before I was seated. Which I found disconcerting because I was the only one there. Food was quite salty but descent. My server took pretty good care of me. I don't think this will be my choice next time I get an oil change.
I’m not normally one to post reviews, but I was very disappointed with the service and the food I received. I ordered online for curbside pickup, only part of the order was brought out and no receipt, glad I checked it. Went back in, “found” the rest of my order and still had to request my receipt. The pic is of what is supposed be the new whole lotta bacon burger, when I I asked about the tiny piece of bacon on it, I was told that’s all it comes with. I asked for the manager who tells me it only comes with 2 slices, but the menu specifically says three slices. The manager brought a couple of slices out for me. I like Applebees in general, but I am very dissatisfied in this particular one, I would strongly advise against doing take out from here.
Omg I had door dash bring me food and I was missing one of my meal and after talking to the manager on nights. He was awesome by the way. He expedited my order so that my family could all eat together.. The food was delivered hot and was amazing thank you Applebee’s. You saved my family night.
We waited about 10 minutes to get seated even though the place only had about 5 tables filled. Once seated we had to wait about another 15 minutes before we were helped. We placed our food and drink order all at once since the service so far had been extremely slow. Our appetizer took over an hour and a half. All of it was cold. We saw our server once to be seated, once to get our order in, once to give us our appetizer, once to get our food, and last to get give us the check. We were never asked if we needed a refill. When we asked for one and a side of ranch we waited another 15 minutes or more. Instead of grabbing our drink the waitress counted her tips, cleaned up the bar, and then came back after we looked over at her. She came back with just the drink and no ranch. We let her know she forgot the ranch which she then proceeded to walk away without saying anything and annoyed. She came back a few minutes later and set it on the table without saying anything. I don’t think I’ve ever had such horrible service. I would never recommend this place to anyone unless they plan to spend hours waiting and are okay with receiving the bare minimum in regards to service. Also, the restaurant closes at midnight and this was around 7 pm so that wasn’t the issue.
My wife did not care for the chicken breast. The quesadilla burger was very good.
Honestly, there were no customers here and 3 people working the floor/bar. The service was very slow. The food was not great. We got the Spinach & artichoke dip... The chips that came with it seemed a bit sad/slightly burnt. I got a side of waffle fries and those had some flavor to them, so that was nice. But I got an appetizer of the honey bbq boneless wings. They had too much and too little sauce, very badly tossed. They weren't hardly warm when I got them and there were parts where it was very chewy.
I don't normally give a bad review, but I need to. The soup was luke warm. I place an order for a sandwich without onions. I got onions. I asked for waffle fries, the waitress gave me a plate of waffle fries with cheese and bacon. In the menu, there is a $1.00 up charge and since I haven't eaten at an Applebee's in years I didn't know what to think. I got the check and there was a $2.99 up charge. When I spoke to the manager he seemed put off that he had to deal with it. He handed me $2.00. It was his attitude that put me off.
Sorry guys, never coming back.
Service was non existent. Waiter never came back to table to refill drinks or check on us. I got riblet platter. Had to wait on fries and coleslaw was dry. This used to be one of our favorite spots. I don't think we'll be back. Too many other options.
