Since my husband is a veteran, he wanted to go to Applebee's for the free veterans lunch. We think this is a great and kind gesture on the part of Applebee's, to honor our veterans like this. Thank you so much. The man taking names just inside the door was somewhat rude to me when I gave him our name. There were 3 couples of two already waiting. All 3 couple were called to go into dining room. We thought we were next. He called 4 more parties of two ahead of us, that had gotten there after us. I finally went up and pointed out our name...it was clearly there, way above the people already seated and crossed off. He gave a half hearted apology, and got us seated next. He wasn't nice to us at all.
I ordered an appetizer for my lunch, and it came out 20 minutes before my husband's lunch. And it was missing a key ingredient.
I had to eat alone, wait 20 minutes, then watch him eat.
Not a good experience, which is a shame, because we go there a lot.

Ordered chicken broccoli alfedo pasta and the only restauranti have ever been to that did not have crushed red pepper. UNACCEPTABLE and pathetic. I would give waitress 5 stars. Restaurant 1 star. Waitress saved a very negative review.
Pathetic. I wouldn't recommend getting takeout here. These are supposed to be Beer Pub Loaded Waffle Fries! This is how I received them! At first glance, I thought they forgot the beer cheese, but then you can see a little something that looks congealed on a couple of waffle fries? It seriously looks like something that had been sitting around from the day before. Not to mention, if these were actually fresh, I'd be bent too. I usually don't write reviews, especially on a sole experience. But the fact that someone willingly sent me off with this to consume is unacceptable. I even left a tip when I ordered it. Totally disgusted.
The family and I went there for dinner last night. We came in and got set down right away. Our waiter came right up to us and got our appetizer and drink order. Our appetizers came out right away. Our appetizers were mozzarella sticks and beer bub pretzels they were good. Our main corse was macaroni and Cheese for the girls, my wife had a clubhouse grill and I had the bourbon street chicken and shrimp. All of our food was good and our service was excellent. The only thing that was a little shocking was our check. For 4 people 2 adults and 2 kids with tip was 117.00. Besides that everything was good.
I'll be straight up honest, my previous experience here was a bad one... but, tonight? Every aspect was 5/5 stars, hands down. I spoke directly with the company, they made sure I was taken care of well. They genuinely care about their customers. Their manager Brett did an amazing job taking care of us as did our waitress Abby and Melvin is always a quality waiter any time if you can get him. Expressing I wasn't happy due to my experience a week prior, Applebees personally made sure every single aspect was knocked out of the park.
For that, a company to be that professional and to care to that degree when they could of just blew my wife and me off?... I am thankful and appreciative to the end. If you want a great dining experience from the atmosphere, to the food, to great waiter service. This is the place to come hangout and enjoy some time! Thanks again and felt they deserved a blunt, honest and appreciated review. I've ate here roughly 7 times now and 1 bad trip that was rectified, hands down by caring staff. No brainer to bring family, friends and loved ones here!
My husband and I love going there for family dinner, especially with our new addition. The servers are always smiling and always on top when it comes to service. Even my little one gets his needs met.
Our server was In training mode which likely made her more attentive. My thoughts are that she will be an excellent addition to the team. Her trainer is a considerate person with the personality to match. Food was great. Although I believe I ate too much. We shared the appetizer and then I successfully manhandled the chicken Alfredo only for it to come back with a vengeance later. Two noodles held me up by my feet while the rest of them took turns showing me what for.
3 of us went and sat at the bar to drink and munch only because we had time to kill. Our bartender had zero personality. She didn't smile once or make any small talk or eye contact what-so-ever with a single person seated around the bar.
My first drink had a chip in the rim I didn't see and on my 2nd sip it cut my lip. It makes sense because she slams glassed and bottles around behind the bar. I told the bartender, she didn't even give me a napkin with a bloody lip or apologize for it. She took the chipped glass to her manager who then came out and apologized. She remade it, but still charged me for the remake. This is petty, it's a $1 drink! She then cut my friend off at 5 beers loudly and embarrassingly. We refused to tip her. She literally caused a scene over it, why am I going to tip someone who acts like they hate every customer and coworker? She was terrible and had the personality of a wet paper bag. She only cared about being fast not friendly. Very unwelcoming and loud like she hated being there throwing buckets in the sink, slamming cups down on the counter, slamming bottles around...
