Best WLM Reviews
The service was great and our server was excellent when my husband got his Riblet plate it was so packed with bbq sauce and they tastes burnt and rubbery and old we have gotten this before and never had them taste burnt and so much bbq sauce today was not a good day.
The food was great! I recommend getting the Four Cheese Mac N Cheese. Also try the Mtn Dew Dark Berry Bash. Only complaint was the lack of seating for more than 4 people. We (six people) were squished into a booth. Overall though it was a good time!
Quick service and relaxing atmosphere. Food was made to order and served hot and fresh. We had pasta with grilled chicken and artichoke dip appetizers. The food was very filling and tasty. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. The parking area has lots of overflow parking for busy times. We enjoyed our meal and will definitely return again.
Was busy but they handled things pretty well. Manager was very nice and our server kept up as best she could. I appreciate their accommodations for our big group! Thanks guys!
I went with a friend we had the two for $32.00 dinner. You pick 2 entrees, with two sides each, and one side dish to share. I had the 6oz sirloin steak, mashed potatoes, and onion rings. For our side, we shared mozzarella sticks. The steak tasted really good. And was cooked perfect. The mashed potatoes tasted rather bland. I didn't care much for those. The onion rings were good. Just the right crispy to them. And the mozzarella sticks tasted yummy. The cheese all melted. So, when you bit into it, the cheese was never ending. I have to admit, the 2 for $32.00 meal deal is a great deal. And worth every penny.
Had a great experience today with my family, they were super busy on a Saturday but still did their best to get the food out all together and hot, the appetizer came out 10 minutes after the food but the manager Leo was extremely polite and professional came by to check on us and comp’d the appetizer as well as deserts! We didn’t even ask them to lol
Decided to give the new and improved apple bees a try and besides making the color of the restaurant as boring as could be nothing changed. One thing I do recommend is training the staff on how to clean tables and stay busy there was a line of us waiting to be seated while multiple tables where empty but dirty and a group of waiters just hanging out like nothings going on. I will applaud the manager for coming out and straighting them out. Food wise everything tastes even cheaper then before.
After walking through the front door, we waited for maybe two minutes before the hostess came to the front and greeted us with a smile. We requested a booth, and the hostess politely walked us to one. The hostess laid down the menus and our silverware and said, "Your server will be with you shortly." It started to trickle downward from there. After about two puzzling minutes of looking at the menu, we began to question their selection of choices—the menu showed various burgers and several different chicken sandwiches. Wait, what? Yes, just as I said. After a couple of minutes, we were able to grab the attention of another upfront hostess. She immediately came to our table and asked how she could help. We said we saw your banner outside informing everyone who passes by to come and see the interior changes; we jokingly asked if they had also changed the menu options. She politely said I’m so sorry, we gave you the wrong menus, I will correct that. She brought us the correct menus.
About five minutes after choosing what to eat, my husband said, "Excuse me, I am going to the restroom. He told me what he wanted to drink on his way. Like, after 30 years as of today, I didn’t know what he wanted to drink; I mean, come on. My husband returned, and we waited about another five minutes; still, no employee came to our aid. My husband said, this is ridiculous and got out of the booth and headed straight to the first employee he saw, which happened to be the bartender. He explained our situation, and I heard her apologize and said I will be right there. Sure, as she said, the bartender was at our table, apologizing profusely that no one had assisted us. She told us that the area we were sitting in had no assigned server. The bartender took our food and drink order and then hurried off to give the cooks our order. Approximately five minutes later, the “server” who had now been assigned to assist us came and apologized for no one providing us any assistance. She acknowledged that the bartender told her she had assisted us and said she was great. Our “server” also stated that she got stuck helping the newbies or something along those lines. She also stated that this area had no assigned server and apologized that the hostess sat us where she did. She said that if we need anything, to let her know. My husband said, “That’s okay. Thank you. The bartender has already assisted us.” I think I forgot to mention that three servers were standing “around” near the manager, who was assisting another table just a few booths down, taking care of a complaint. He had been speaking with them when we arrived and left maybe a minute or two before our food arrived. We’re unsure if the servers were also speaking with the customers or if they were there if things turned ugly. Two of the servers were the “server” and a newbie who came to our table after the bartender. When our “server” left our table, It was within a minute or two when the bartender brought us our drinks. Then, It seemed like it was only ten minutes after the bartender placed our order that our food was served. The manager came to our table when we were almost through. He apologized profusely for the lack of service. He said he was assisting another table of customers who had a complaint. He asked if there was anything he could do to make it right, which we appreciated. My husband and I are not the type of people who try to get something for free, even if the service is borderline horrendous. We thanked the manager for coming to speak with us. Myra, the bartender, I hope I spelled her name correctly, is what every server could hope to be like. She spent time speaking with us, laughing at something one of us said, and still paid attention to the area she was assigned to. Myra is funny, professional, and a joy to speak with. Because of Myra, we will still probably visit Applebee’s, just not anytime soon.
