We didn't get any sauce with our wrap, which is the best part! Mac and cheese was good but very oily. It was ready on time, just came up short.

I had the Oriental Chicken Salad with Blackened Grilled Chicken. It was awesome. I had so much that I took home enough for another meal. My two friends had equally delicious food. ????
I love visiting Applebee's around this time (OCT) of the year for their Halloween novelty drinks like the Zombie-rita. It pairs well with my favorite menu item, wonton tacos.
We walked in and we're here fairly quickly. She had to clean a booth for us so we waited. Two other tables walked in a she sat them before us and then came back to ask if we could be at a high top which was fine. We waited for about 10 min without being acknowledged by anyone walking around us. Feeling a bit unwelcomed, we left the restaurant. We went to Chili's instead and would recommend the same to others.
When we got here we waited for a host to tell us where to sit. They took us to our table and it took 15 minutes to even get acknowledged that we were sitting. Mitchell our waiter was busy doing something else that another waiter told him we were there. I'm not gonna complain about the food. It was great and delicious. Our waiter Mitchell kept disappearing and just chit-chatting with the other waiters while we waited for our check. This place isn't what it used to be. I don't think I'll be coming back any time soon.
We came in before the happy hour rush, but whew you wouldn't know it from the service. Waitress didn't even greet us, not even a "hi" just "what can I get you to drink?" It didn't get better from there. So slow on refills, food, and even returning our card when paying. She was very very very attentive to one elderly gentleman, but not us. Just really felt like we were a bother and interrupting her time with him.
So yesterday April 24th, I came to Applebees with my friend during happy hour. The lady who served us was absolutely fantastic I have zero complaints about her. The food and drinks we order were fantastic as usual. The complaint I have is about the woman in the photo. Now the only thing between her and I was a chair and I understand you had a rough day at work but your comments made were defiantly inappropriate and RACIEST. Now I couldn’t get her name but I did get a photo. This lady in the photo said and I quote “I hate black people AND I hate white people.” Then idk what the man next to her said but then she said “I hate all people”. Now okay I understand you are upset at customers but it only got worse from there. The man said “ do you use the N word” and the woman said “Yes of course if that’s how you’re acting then I’m going to use that word”. This was probably the most SICKENING part about all the comments she said. As someone who is African American and my friend being Japanese we felt VERY uncomfortable but the way she said it so casual made it seem like this is not the first time she has said this as work. I hope Applebees takes the proper steps in talking to her about her professionalism. Also if you hate your job THIS much you should find another one.
