Run, don't walk! For 9.99 you get this delicious sandwich, fries and a drink!!! Way better than other chicken sandwiches! Don't forget to tip your server!! We were so full and so happy with our meal!! Definitely coming back!!!
Our waitress was outstanding. But they didn't have the meal I wanted, not a big deal. The appetizer we ordered was sold out after we ordered. So we skipped the app. My son wanted the yogurt with strawberries and was informed after ordering no yogurt. Meals we did order tasted fine and came out in reasonable time. For General upkeep. Light bulbs burned out at table. Host/hostess "desk" door was falling off.
I went for lunch today. Half of the tables were empty. The guy at the entrance, totally useless. He told me it was a 5-10 minutes wait. I waited 20 minutes and I asked him what was going on. He told me that the wait was 5-10 minutes. I had the choice between sitting at the bar or speak with the manager. I spoke with Dan, the manager. Totally unhelpful. No resolution, I was just told to wait. I did the honorable thing I left. 10 minutes later, at the Guadalajara Restaurant, down the road, with a cold Mexican Coca-Cola and tortilla chips, and waiting for the food. OK, I understand that you staff shortages, but this does not mean that you have to treat your Customers, as a major incovenience.
My husband and I ordered you $9.99 meals . The burger and Chicken sandwich was delicious and I so appreciate the smaller portions. It was just the right amount. Too often when eating out the portions are more than is necessary and I do not want to waste therefore I eat too much. Love the $9.99 meals!
If I could give zero stars thats what I would do. We had the worst dining experience I've ever had today. Your restaurant was so dirty, the food was terrible, and the service was just as bad. I have contacted corporate and have photos of the dirt and nasty food. Food (or something) smeared all over windows, the salad was moldy and mushy, the food was luke warm and the server was never anywhere to be found. Flies everywhere.
Huge rave to Ashley at Applebees. Sat in her section tonight and she was phenomenal. Quick, attentive, and engaged very well with my 4 year old daughter. We haven’t always had the best service here, but decided to try again tonight and was VERY pleased. We will definitely be back.
I like the deals on food and love the mucho margaritas. But customer service can be improved. My visit during Veterans’ Day
2021 wasn’t that pleasant. I ordered a margarita and at about half I noticed something on the glass. At first I thought it was salt or maybe sugar so I touched it and it was actually a chip of the glass and cut my finger a little bit. I told the server about it. It took long time before he got back to me and said he told the manager about it and it’s noted. He took my drink but didn’t do anything. Oh my, the manager just noted it. Deals might come with a chipped glass and for sure the manager will take note on that.
As a lifelong Cheyenne resident, I've been to this Applebees quite frequently, and overall, all my visits have been pretty good. I can't remember any visit that has been bad or turned me off from the restaurant. The food has always been good, and they rarely make mistakes on my order, and that's not a biased statement based on this restaurant being one of my favorites. I always order burgers when i eat here, so i'm quite acquainted with their burgers. The burgers are really good and well portioned as well. The fries are also good, and I'd go as far as to say their fries are some of the best in Cheyenne. I will also say they have good long island ice teas for those who like alcoholic beverages. As far as service, I've met and had many servers over the years, and each has their own way of doing things, but overall service has always been good. I will talk a bit about my most recent visit, which was on Mother's Day. It was kind of a hectic day at the restaurant, and service took a bit longer, as it was really busy during lunchtime. My order came out a bit wrong, but I'm not going to be too harsh on the server because his friendly service was pretty on point. The food was hot and fresh, so that's always a plus. It wasn't the best visit, but it wasn't bad enough to alter my opinion or the overall rating of this restaurant. I definitely look forward to my next visit and I'm sure things will be better.
