Best WLM Reviews
First review after many many visits. It is not always perfect, but it is usually pretty dang great. The BEST Applebee's anywhere around. Today's visit was no different. Clean store, very helpful and nice staff and some great food.
Highly recommend the 2 for $25/30/35, the House Margarita, half priced apps and more. This is the best franchise restaurant in Henry County.
It's definitely better than the last time I went. This time, I had the salmon. It was delicious. The only reason for 4 stars, is that my sides were cold, which was disappointing. The salmon was excellent. I would try them again.
Monty and I drove in from Vermont in a bright pink low slung Fiat 500 convertible on a mission to score some of the best weed in town. We'd heard the stories of Applebee's legendry out-back grown weed and, in particular, the restaurant's Space Cake, made with their finest Acapulco Gold, and of course, the chef's speciality, the Sativa Scones. The chef is a Culinary Institute of America trained chef and is rumored to be a genius when it comes to edibles, so we were very keen to see if the hype was true.
We knocked on the kitchen door out back. Three fast knocks followed by four slow knocks, then five fast knocks, two slow knocks, then three fast knocks. This is the code. Within minutes of arriving, we had all we needed and headed to the woods out back to try it out. After wandering around for a while, we came across a joy to behold, the restaurant's grow patch. The Acapulco was as we'd hoped, a heady nose of terpenes with hints of moss and dirty pants. It stood before us, swaying gently in the breeze like glittering guardians of a heavenly sacred plantation. We spent the day smoking it in pipes and bongs, but unfortunately, we got so wasted we couldn't find our way back to the car. We eventually stumbled upon a nice looking Tesla and managed to gain entry by smashing through the front windshield. Regrettably, Monty wasn't able to hot wire it, as he was too busy vomiting into the driver's footwell. Having no luck with the Tesla, we tried our luck getting a Chevy pickup started. Unfortunately, Monty succumbed to another bout of vomiting and had to leave his deposit on the front passenger seat for the owner to discover in the morning. Undeterred, we attempted to steal fourteen other cars across town, but on each attempt poor Monty vomited in them all. However, on nine of those occasions, he was considerate enough to project it into the glove compartment, so please don't think he's without manners.
After two days of searching, we came across a really cool looking low slung bright pink Fiat 500 convertible parked outside Applebee's Grill + Bar. It looked quite like ours. We knew it would be a miracle if the key we found in Monty's jacket pocket would fit the ignition and start. But what would you know? It did start! Well, we drove away from that place like scalded salmon. Spent the first hour looking over our shoulders expecting to see the owner behind us, but he never came. When we got close to home, we decided to torch the car. No point leaving incriminating fingerprints, is there?
Anyway, as far as the food in the restaurant goes, I can't possibly comment as I didn't actually eat any, Monty ate all the edibles. However, I can fully recommend the Acapulco Gold, bonged or piped. It will blow your mind.
Also, if anyone sees a low slung bright pink Fiat 500 around town, can you get back to me please?
Last time I went to Applebee’s, my food was burnt and the price was $17 and some change. I said I wouldn’t go back but decided to give them another chance. When I went back, I ordered the same thing I always order grilled chicken breast garlic mashed potatoes, and steamed broccoli. This time it was $20.08. That’s ridiculous. I can go to Walsh‘s chicken and spend that much and the food will do me for three days. Keep going up on your prices and you’ll soon be out of business here. Have a good day.
For years, I have frequented this restaurant, not to eat but to score weed from the chef, who has a plantation of the stuff hidden in the backwoods. The skillful hands of the chef create nothing short of alchemical homegrown magic. The quality of the weed I’ve purchased has consistently surpassed expectations, each transaction leaving me in awe of the dedication and mastery behind every offering. It’s a rare thing to find such craftsmanship in this domain, where even the finest details are attended to with meticulous care. Each purchase delivers not only a generous amount but also a sense of trust and reliability, making every score a truly unique experience.
While the price may lean on the higher side, the superior quality and remarkable consistency make it a price well worth paying. The craftsmanship behind every bud elevates the experience far beyond the ordinary, ensuring that what you receive is always a cut above the rest. In a world where mediocrity can often be the norm, this homegrown skunk stands as a beacon of excellence, where paying that little bit extra feels like an investment in something truly exceptional.
They say the food is pretty poor, but I've never actually eaten there so, being a generous soul, I gave them five stars anyway.
Service varies. I like the lunch and 2 for $25 deals. Has good beer & drink sales. Can't remember when I ever paid $11 for a margarita...hmmm. It was good though while I waited for my to go dinner.
food was great, but our waitress was terrible.. multiple of our orders came incorrect. we asked for loaded mashed potatoes, but they came unloaded.. we asked for ranch and then waited for more than 20 minutes just to receive a fresh spoonful of air.. not even oxygenated air, the air was spicy.. hurt to breathe might've been my fart, I wasn't paying attention..
The food was good. The atmosphere was good. However, the reason for only 3 stars was because our waitress seemed to be disconnected. Her mind was not on us... her customers. Well, that is up until she brought the bill to us. Then she smiled really big then.
