The night manager here on Saturday 8/17 was amazing. She was so caring and conscious of our situation. She went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We were here with a 6 1/2 mo old baby, who was being fussy. She did everything possible to help us out. We can't thank her enough. Our waiter Bailey was the best! Great service, and attended to our every need. Both of them need to be recognized for their excellent caring attitudes and service!
Kayla has been one of the best bartenders I have had. I truly enjoy my experience when I come in after a hard days work. She makes sure I am taken care of and I realize I get to decompress with laughs and joking while she multitasks. She is a joy to talk to and I truly enjoy my time at Applebees when she is here.
The staff here are so friendly and welcoming! The food came out faster than we expected and was cooked perfectly and the manager came by to introduce himself and check in. A great experience overall! We’ll be coming back for sure
My waitress Felicia was amazing and went above and beyond I would give her 100 stars if I could. She filled my drinks as soon as they are empty. My guy Rob on the grill did an outstanding job cooking my food. A label above my table went out and they had it fixed before I even noticed. If you have the opportunity to visit this Applebees it will change your life.
Felicia was our waitress and she was amazing. She is one of the best waitress that I ever had and she is the reason I will return. The food was really good as well. I will recommend the Smithfield site to anyone that will listen.
Tonight my family and I went to dinner here. We have been here many times before and have always had a wonderful experience. I never leave reviews but I feel this needed to be heard. Tonight my son suddenly got sick and threw up (probably from being a typical kid and drinking his chocolate shake to fast) when I tell you from the moment this happened to the moment we walked out the door, the manager and our server were so attentive to the situation and very sympathetic. We have never had this happen before in a public setting so of course I was going through the emotions of being nervous, scared and feeling terrible for everyone involved. They came out with wet and dry towels and insisted to clear our bill, I insisted on paying it 3 times because frankly there was nothing wrong with the service or food. Everything was phenomenal as it always is, but the manager was more concerned for my son’s well being and hurrying to get him home. My husband tried to continue to clean up the throw up while I took my son out to the car and they insisted to not worry about it. When I tell you they care more about you and your family than you’ll ever realize. I went out to the car to clean my son up and walked back in to tip our amazing server $30. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. You don’t get this kind of service just anywhere anymore.
Great staff here, very polite and accommodating. Immediately transitioned our table when we had two more ppl added to our party without a problem. Food was delicious and servers very polite.
Say and waited 10 minutes. Watched every employee walk around and chit chat. Finally a server came over. When asked why it took 10 min (after she repeatedly walked by us) to even take our drink order. The response we received was, “oh I don’t know, no one told me I had a table, so I’m not sure.” Mind you, this girl literally walked past us at least 6 times. So honey, you knew you had a table. Even if it wasn’t yours, you see a guest seated for that long. You ask, has anyone been over to help you?! Common sense - not so common these days! Luckily our food is always good. Because I personally wouldn’t go back. It’s my husband who likes it there. Poor management, employees are very lax. And this is at 4:45, and it’s not busy. So literally NO EXCUSE
