Went in for a good bite and left disappointed. For drinks ordered the Tequila flight to start for drinks which is nice but it seems there are more flavors than listed which is confusing. The appetizer platter which came hot and was very tasty. The mains really were a let down. For the steak and shrimp the steak was inedible with large piece of gristle running through it. The other was the ribs which were nice but fries were salted way too much for our liking. The manager did offer a new dish for the steak and got the salmon which was nice, the experience of a chewy lump really did put us off after that. Good service let down by poor kitchen oversight.
Stopped in for a quick snack and shared Wonton Chicken Tacos. Lovely presentation, but tacos were barely warm, chicken was a bit rubbery. Flavor was alright, like a mild sweet chili sauce, the squeeze of lime was needed. It wasn’t busy, we were served fast, making it more surprising it wasn’t hot.
Service was fine. We didn’t find the atmosphere especially inviting, so we ate, and then promptly left.
It’s unlikely I’d return, but that’s just my honest opinion, not because of anything particularly bad, just a subpar experience.
The ribs and drinks were delicious, their burgers are also great. The mozarella sticks with marinara sauce are a fantastic appetizer. Service was quick and there was only a short waiting time.
My wife and I visited your Burlington, WA, location for the first time on Monday, October 21, 2024. We were not even remotely impressed! We were seated and waited for our server, and waited and waited. I guess she was too busy talking to her friends at the bar to help us. After 20 minutes of waiting, we got up and left your restaurant without even placing an order. At the time of our visit, there were only 7-8 patrons in the restaurant, so, not busy at all. We were so pissed that I told 12 of our friends not to eat there and told them to tell all of their other friends the same. How can you expect to run a business when service is non-existent. We will NEVER go there again. Your management seriously needs to address this issue if you expect to stay in business.
Average wait time for seating. Longer than desirable wait time to take our drink and food order. For iced tea, no sugar or substitute options were offered except a syrup of some sort. Which made the tea taste terrible. Our cups sat empty for awhile and it took 45 minutes in a half filled restaurant due to the recent social distancing plans in place to get our food. The waitress was rude that was servicing our table. The only time she was nice during our visit was when she delivered the check. She tried to hurry and make up for the time she did not spend servicing our table. Hands down the worst Applebee's experience I've ever had. I recommend retraining on service to all that wait on customers for these servers are the face of your company. On the upside, props to the cook. The food was well prepared, warm, and flavorful.
food was delicious, fast service. staff was super friendly constantly checking in and refilling driks. 10/10 would recommend for a great atmosphere friendly service and a good meal.
Everything was great, but played a lot of sad downer songs. Was a bad week so didn’t help.

We were seated right away to our table and I love how they had 1/2 price happy hour!.
We ordered the boneless chicken bites with honey pepper sauce. It was decent and I'd say on the sweeter side.
My partner ordered the chicken with shrimp and mashed potatoes, and he couldn't finish it because it was too salty and oily for his taste.
The riblet plate I couldn't finish since the meat was a bit chewy and too saucy. The fries were ok tho
The margaritas (strawberry and passion fruit) were too sweet and I kept diluting it with my water
The brownie with ice cream was great! But nothing special to it
Maybe it's because we're not accustomed to American food (from Vancouver), so I'd say take the food reviews with a grain of salt lol
