I ordered a burger a few days ago and I was telling my son how good it was. So we ordered separately for takeout tonight. We ordered the 9.99 deal and we both ordered bacon cheeseburgers. Mine came with bacon, his did not. I'm attaching pictures of both burgers and his receipt and mine so you can see that we are not making it up. Mine is the one without cheese. Also, mine had pink, ordered without, as you can see on my receipt. To make it worse, it was like a blizzard outside. I didn't realize that before I ordered. I narrowly avoided an accident and ran into the curb trying to avoid it. I even got stuck there for a few minutes due to that, but managed to get out. The last time I ordered there was a paper to give feedback on my order in the bag but this time there wasn't. So I'm doing it here.
Food was delicious! Burger was flavorful and the classic combo was fresh! The waiter even brought us to go boxes without asking. Everything went the way it should have which was smooth.
Ordered food and drinks for takeout at 7pm via the website and was provided the pick up time of 7:21pm via email. I arrived, parked and called the Carside To Go phone number on the sign at the pick-up parking spot sign exactly at 7:21pm. I was told that the food was already done and they were just waiting on the drinks from the bar. I called again at 7:37pm and it still wasn't ready. My boyfriend went in and the bartender was standing around and when my boyfriend asked if he had forgotten about our pick up order, the bartender said "No, but we're busy". We continued to wait in the car and finally someone came out (empty-handed) to check my ID before going back inside for several minutes. We finally got our order and the food was cold.
I was prompted via email to leave a rating, and I relayed the above-mentioned facts. A manager responded to me and asked for more details. They then sent me an email stating I will get a gift card via email in about 5-7 days. I will edit this review once I receive the gift card and order again (if I even decide to order from this location again). Leaving 2 stars because subsequent customer service was good, responsive, and an adequate resolution to my terrible experience.
Applebee's is a good old reliable favorite but can be hit or miss depending on the location. This is the first time we have eaten at this location and we got there about 15 minutes into the happy hour. There was only one server and a bar tender for the entire Restaurant. So as to be expected service was not that great. Okay for the circumstances.
I got the Sangria with an angry orchard in it kinda like a "Coronarita". Happy Hour offers half price appetizers and we got my favorite the soft pretzels with beer cheese sauce and mustard. We usually get the dinner for 2 for $25 or $30 and skip the appetizer to get 2 salads. I love the French onion soup here so that is a must. Our entrees were the riblets and Bourbon street chicken and shrimp. Both were okay.
We were there on Superbowl Sunday and were told they could not turn up any sound for the game only music. So we quickly left before kick-off.
Alright, an honest review of Applebee’s. Service was amazing. Great server who tried her absolute best. Drinks were great especially if you love really sweet beverages without much alcohol. Some food was good (chicken and shrimp) some food was so bad I wouldn’t even taken leftovers home (riblets).
But let’s be honest, we all go to the ‘bee’s for The Rock’s drinks so I made sure to try all three. And I came up with a little game called FMK
F: Tropical Mana Margarita (extremely sweet, but came with a gummy and MAYBE something The Rock would drink during a cheat day.)
M: The People’s Margarita. Was it great, no. But could I spend a lifetime drinking it..sure
K: Blue Aloha Mana Margarita. Terrible. Way too sweet, hardly any of that high quality Teremana tequila. Not as bad as the riblets, but a close second.
Overall, happy we went. Got a quick mirror selfie for the gram which was nice because it resonated with my Midwest followers who also went to the ‘Bee’s for #franchisefriday
The girlfriend and I stopped in on Saturday at 6:15. We ordered our drinks, she got a house margarita and I got a draft Stella beer. My beer was flat but nothing to complain about. We the proceed to put in our food order. (Boneless buffalo wings, and 2 orders of the 3 cheese chicken penne) The boneless wings were great but about 5 mins after receiving them our main dishes came out. Hers appears to be fine, but when I tried to spread my bruschetta around it was a frozen block. I laughed at the time and asked our bartender to warm it up for me. They took it and thirty seconds came back out and said, "we warmed it up for you." The problem with this is when something is frozen and you microwave it, it melts and adds extra moisture to the dish. The breadstick was now hard, and the meal was trash. I could have filled the plastic ranch dressing container with excess water. No management came by or made it right. I worked for applebees in my twenties for a few years and this was a disappointment. C'mon and get your stuff together. Look in the pictures 60 bucks to leave still hungry
Today is my youngest daughters birthday and she wanted to have dinner at Applebee's. I have to say the food was good but it was the service that made my family and my night. Tiffany was I waitress and she was the best. It's been a minute since I have ever had such great service. She know what we wanted before we did and it made us feel appreciated. Thank you so much Tiffany for such great service. 10625 W. Colfax Ave. Lakewood Co is the address and I will be telling my friend and returning.
I ordered food to go after I was done eating. One of the items I ordered was boneless chicken bites, but when I brought them home, it was more like hard breaded bites because there was hardly any chicken in there. Some of them had no chicken at all, and they were extremely hard and mostly breading, the french fries I brought home with my steak. Dinner were soggy from the water that accumulated inside the plastic container. There was so much water I could dump it out totally disgusting. Nobody wants to eat waffle fries that have been soaked in water. they need to rethink their packaging so this doesn’t happen to somebody else
