I did this chicken sandwich comparison. These are the 4 chicken sandwiches from different place around Santa Maria. I am not going to tell which restaurants were involved but I will tell you the winner.
I had several people look and taste these really good sandwiches. We saw that the different pallets of people really gave some good comments.
Well let me just get to the point. Size and taste goes to Applebees. They had the largest mountain of chicken we saw. The chicken was very juicy.
The other sandwiches were close in taste and juiciness but the did not compare to the monstrosity of Applebees.
I went to 4 popular places. I did not compare all places. If you want a Great chicken get one at applebees. What a great job.
Food was good. Friendly, helpful service. Nice atmosphere. Went there about 15 minutes after they opened. So it wasn't busy yet. Works for me. ????
I love coming here and catching up with friends. So far, out of all their drinks, the Tipsy Reindeer(21+) or their passion fruit lemonade is my favorite. The food is decent, 8/10. And the servers are friendly and down-to-earth
The food has gone down hill in the last few yrs or I've just gotten unlucky. Either way the ribs were super dry & the artichoke dip was flavorless. The drinks were very good and had a good ratio of alcohol/mixer. There service was great as well.
My family and I went to dinner tonight and it was my idea to go to Applebees. Long story short we get there and was seated and our waitress named Alexis was NOT having it. No smile, nothing. I was to the point where I even asked her if she was having a good night. Not one time did she ask us how everything was or if we needed anything. Alexis did refill our drinks one time and after that I had to ask her. I understand everyone have bad days but this was horrible service to the point I felt like I was bothering her. It's a shame here I spent almost $80 to have crappy service.
This Applebee's is a very safe and family-friendly establishment. The managers provide excellent customer service, and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone receives equal respect and attention. The food is outstanding, with great attention to detail, and they show a special appreciation for veterans.
If I could leave a 0 star I would . I love Applebees ever since I was a kid, I usually have a good experience here. Today however was so dishearting I came to dinner with my boyfriend and we ordered Two appetizers two full entrees and an additional appetizers the hose was nice and our server was great. I got full early and had maybe ate one half of the two riblettes that’s were on my plate . We paid and left within the next three minutes I realized I left my to go container on the table and ran back for it when I came back I was waiting some time before anyone approached me and then I explained the situation I hadn’t even asked for anything except for someone to check if my left overs were still there, it went through two different people one person said he’d look and what did I order then second one was our server and he asked what I had ordered and then said he’ll get me another right away if I wanted to wait I said sure. Then an older white gentlemen came out and told me it was my fault and that once we leave it’s all trash and that it was my fault and was incredible rude I was taken aback and slightly upset bc I hadn’t even said I would’ve have paid for the new order once I mentioned that he changed his tone so quick and kept trying to offer a discount but I was so taken aback by how rude he was and how he was so quick to take back what he other worker had said it was just an awful experience
Amazing food and atmosphere! Our server Jessica was awesome and Marcus the manager was top notch!
