Best WLM Reviews
Just came to enjoy a late night treat!
We don't expect much because it almost close but everything is good server is great food is delight! Drinks are good! Appreciate all staff for work hard.
Good deal with great vibes highly recommend!
I hope this review is seen by the owner or the mgr of Applebee's so that they will address the forthcoming concerns. Good green beans begin with a good product. The green beans were so stringy and tough that I couldn't eat them. Check out Julia Childs recipe for cooking green beans. My craving for good ribs was met with cold and dry ribblets dipped in a warm sauce. We took them with us so that we could repurpose them into something desirable to eat. The fries were pretty good. Why do restaurants call balls of white chicken meat, boneless wings. Although they weren't bad, this was not wing meat. In fact, the bone-in wings they serve are wingdings, not chicken wings. There are two parts to a chicken wing; the drum and the flat. The garlic mashed potatoes were pretty good. Service was ok. Had our server returned to the table a couple more times, we would have tipped her more than 20%. Yes, there is a direct correlation between giving good service and the tip amount. Overall, for a family who isn't as concerned as we are about the quality of food, it's a good risk. I'm sure some dishes are redeemable. With prices as they are, I expect a good return on my investment. I got a low return on this investment. Sorry Applebee's, but it's the last time I'll dine there. Your happy hour drink prices look great. Maybe I'll come in for drinks.
Thank you for acknowledging my post. My hope was to raise awareness about my experience. I realize that as a chain, there is little control over the products you receive. My suggestion is that you taste the quality of the products you receive. If they don't meet a certain quality standard, pull the item from the menu. If I was advised by my server that you pulled green beans because of a quality issue, I'd respect that decision. I purchased green beans from my grocers. They were horrible, and I threw them out. I would never serve bad products to my family. Don't serve them to us. Again, thank you for responding.
It was a pretty good experience overall for the most part. Even though it was adequately busy, we were able to get a seat right away and were even able to be seated in a booth, as requested. Our waitress was a very friendly and energetic woman who was happy to assist us and take our order. She made sure that we were served very quickly. There was not a long wait for our food at all. The steak that I ordered was a little more cooked than how I ordered it, but it was still pretty alright for the most part. My drink was freaking delicious though! It tasted every bit as blue as it was and it was everything I could have hoped for and then some.
Went around 9pm Saturday. Place was pretty full and we were seated right away. The service from there plummeted. Our server took forever with every aspect, from how long it took her to take our order to actually bring the food. Granted like I said they were full, but I watched people come in after us & get their food first. Mind you there only me & my girlfriend. The picture is the first appetizer she brought out, asked for a different one she never came back. A different waitress asked if we wanted it changed once she noticed what it look like.
We’ve gone here for years. It’s only gotten progressively worse. If you order car side to go, you will need to go inside and hunt for you order. They will have you stand in a high traffic area while you try to find the person prepping your order. The last time we were there was the day after thanksgiving. It was slow. We got steak. It takes like it had been soaked in lighter fluid. The server never came back. We ate the sides, paid at the table and left. I told my wife, prison food would be better. We decided to NEVER go back again.
I visit this restaurant frequently. I understand things can happen. They sat us down promptly. Then we waited. Others come in get waited on. Manager Jim walked past us a couple times as we sat with no drinks. Menus on the table. It was so long that the lady at the bar came and asked if we have be waited on. She took great care of us from that point. Even tho we wasn't her table. Food was great. I sure hope Jim the manager moves right back out of this one. Not attentive to his customers. Just chatting with employees.
My waitress was very unprofessional
She brought two staws to the table and then came back and brought and open one
And act like she didnt know it was open
And then when she came back and said she put my husband order as a meal but gave him the wrong plate and gave him appetizer my husband talk to the manager try to take her side and say they was back up when they messed up the other table behind us 3 times
My husband was very upset and unsatisfied that he will never eat there again
Then when it was time to leave she had a attitude and ask oh you not going leave no tip
Their service was so bad I can't even give them no rating
Don't go this applebees on South Arlington
Cynthia was our server and was amazing! Very accommodating in regards to my service dog, personable and genuinely friendly. And she showed a lot of patience with a high maintenance table near us that I commend her for!
