I recently dined at Applebee's and had a fantastic experience! Our waiter, John, provided exceptional service from start to finish. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. John’s terrific service truly made our visit outstanding. Highly recommend dining here and asking for John!

I have returned here thrice in one week,upon my 2nd visit to Newton NJ and the meals are as delicious as before.

Let me start out by saying the manager was disrespectful, I’ll get into that later. BUT our waitress Melissa was great the entire time. We were a party of 10 and she did wonderful. However, our food, was less then wonderful. 3 people at our table got some sort of Alfredo meal and all were WATERY, like disgustingly. 1 was replaced and came out a bit thicker but still way to watery and didn’t end up eating. Two switched there meals to a burger. These burgers, were also, DISGUSTING. Dripping in grease causing a huge pile of grease sitting on the plate as you were trying to eat it. It was burnt on the edges as well. Both men, also did not continue to eat these. When I addressed the manager after the burgers also came out bad, he told me that this was normal. There burgers are greasy. I asked him if that looked appetizing to him and if he would eat it? His response? “I don’t know why your yelling at me” I was NOT yelling in any way shape or form mind you. However, I was expecting a managers professional response of … I’m so sorry, can I get you anything else…. I’ll get these off the bill for you…. I mean, something. We thought he handled this very in appropriately. I see there’s a spot for pictures and I now wish I had taken some!!!
Had good food, great service, and dining experience was good! I specifically wanted to comment on the regional manager, Steven, he walked to every table to ask how everything was (very pleasant and took his time at each table), however when a elderly, what seemed to be regular, women came in he sat down with her and had a wonderful conversation. This made me feel like he not only cares for his customers, but truly wants them to feel welcomed. That small act of kindness most likely changed that woman's whole day. He helped to seat guests and ensure every table was well taken care of. For that reason alone, I would rate him/the location a 5 star. Our waitress, Magda, was nothing short of helpful and provided quality service!
I ordered the brownie bite. I understand it’s not supposed to be that big but what I received was absolutely pathetic. Can’t just serve a tiny sliver for $8 bucks big boy ????????
“OLIVIA” she tells us that the table was clean. She was rude and having nasty attitude we told her that we need a table for 8 peoples and she try to seat us in two different tables. She really needs to get fired.

The food is very good. Also, my sister is on a very strict anti inflammatory diet and it’s very hard for her to eat out but had no choice because we are traveling for her Dr apt and the manager was absolutely AWESOME in helping her. They were able to have her salmon cooked only in olive oil and no seasoning (she can’t have most seasonings nor any oil except olive oil) her broccoli plain and a salad with the things she can have. My steak with potatoes and broccoli was perfectly seasoned and tasted very good.
