I ordered curbside over the phone I was advised that my order would be ready at 9:28pm, I arrived about 9:34pm .i sat in my car for at least 10min before I went in to check ion my order, it was no more than 5 people in the restaurant so there was no need for me to have to get out my car. Waitress ask me my name and proceeded to get my meal, which I ordered shrimp Alfredo and chicken Alfredo with two sides of extra Alfredo .which they charged me $2.00 each for . When I checked to see if the items was correct, I notice that they did not put any Alfredo sauce on either meal. I asked the waitress why didn’t I haven’t any Alfredo sauce on either of my meals, she tells me that they measure the Alfredo sauce , but there’s no Alfredo sauce on these meals , so you trying to tell me I paid $4 to pour Alfredo on a meal that should have Alfredo sauce already in it. I asked for the manager, the manager sat at the table for about 5 minutes before she got up to speak with me , as she was getting up she was shaking her head with an i don't want to deal this look. I asked her the same-thing , these meals should have alfredo sauce in them already she stated yes, she said i will go get you some more, there was no apology or anything from none of the staff, all of them had attitudes, no customer service skills at all
Food was decent, service was very minimal. We waited for forever on our bill while everyone just sat around at the bar. One lady seemed to be doing all the work. Music was awful and not crowd pleasing one bit. Filthy language. Definitely won't be back.
So we tried it again but we wnt to another location, Haywood Mall location!!! All o can say is they need to do classes for that White Horse road location. My food was hot, fries were not a burnt three times. We ordered the exact same thing and the difference!!! Thank you for restoring my faith in Applebee's!
Went in to Applebees for dinner tonight. We were seated right away. After that everything went downhill. Sat at the booth for almost 15 minutes being completely IGNORED by our assigned waitress. Yes, she had one (1) other table, but couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge us as she walked by us. She was very talkative and animated with the other table. Apparently, she preferred to serve customers of her own color and NOT us. Eventually, she slouched over to our table, just as we were getting up to leave, and wanted to know ..."well, where you think you're going to?" We just kept walking while she hurled very borderline comments at us. Bear in mind we never ordered, were never acknowledged, and did Not owe her anything!!
We have been regular customers here for several years, but I can say this NEVER AGAIN!!
We went in for a quick meal at a reasonable price but it turned to be the worse service ever. The manager didn’t make us pay but it seemed like she was making us feel like it was our fault that the service was horrible and it wasn’t. The place wasn’t that busy for us to wait the way we did and then 3 tables walked out because of not getting drunk orders at a decent time. We will not be back. They need a LOT of revamping and training.
My family and I came to Applebees for dinner on Saturday October 12. The service was horrible and food was nasty . We waited for 40 minutes until we received our drinks and even longer for our food. We had a hard time finding our waitress to remind her we needed drinks. The silverware was not clean and still had old dried food still on it. We spoke to the manager who had an attitude and who couldn't comprehend the fact that I was needing to know why it was taking so long and why haven't we received our drinks. She then told me it was gonna take just a few more minutes because my order was just put in the system keep in mind we ordered 40 minutes before i called the manager over. I'm surprised Applebee's is still in business and I think think this location should have someone from corporate do a secret visit to this location throughout the week and weekend. It's a mess. Service and food was a 1 out of 10 I would strongly not recommend!
Visited this location today for a family birthday dinner. Our server Sam was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. She was very attentive, friendly, and offered exceptional customer service! She was so sweet and I loved her personality! The other crew members that assisted her with bringing out our food were also great. The wait for our food was very short lived and everything came out hot and fresh. We visit this location often and are always satisfied.
Terrible experience at this location. We ordered to-go food that said it would be ready within 30minutes. Arrived to the restaurant to pickup at designated time and had to wait an additional 20mins. There is no where to stand or sit while waiting so you just have to stand in this tiny section at the back where the staff is going in and out of the kitchen. Several staff members asked if we had been helped and we told them we were waiting on a pickup order. They would say they were going to check but never came back to give an update. One waitress finally said they were “bagging” the food but it still didn’t come out of the kitchen. When we finally got the bag it was not even the correct order. We were missing an entire entree and the salads in the bag had no dressing. We asked for the manager and someone from the kitchen came out and said he would make the other entree. After waiting even longer and our other food getting cold we asked for a refund. The manager tried to give us a voucher or something but we just wanted a refund at that point. We got the refund and gave them back the bag of food and left. The inside of the restaurant was also hot and dirty. There were tables not clean and the bar and kitchen were filthy. I would definitely not recommend this place.
