We went to the Applebee's in the Dunlap area. The amount of food you get for your money is good. Servers switched during our stay so we got neglected but the food was good and the place was clean. When we got there the staff seemed inconvenienced so that was disappointing
Went to eat dinner on 6/23/24. Family of four, no host to seat us and waited roughly 5 to 10 minutes to be seated which isn't a big deal. Sat down and waited about another 5 to 10 minutes to get our drinks to be ordered. Drinks came out fine, we placed the order with the waitress and asked if we could get our meal modify slightly by having no pickles on a burger and no crispy chips under a chicken meal. Surprised to say it still came out wrong. We also had a kids meal with a corn dog, that looked burnt. After we got our meal, we didn't see our server till it was time for our bill. Once we paid our bill, our server took it upon herself to give herself an extra $10 tip for her "great" service. So when confronted today about it, we were advised we were going to get compensation of the extra $10 the waitress added on. Tips are based on service and if the service isn't there you don't get a good tip. Just beware of this place, we aren't coming back. As an added update, the District Manager got involved and refunded our meal for the inconvenience. We are grateful for that but very disappointed with the service still. Took out the name but you can clearly see the total was modified.
Got here at 7:30 Saturday night 8/31/24. It was dead inside we got seated right away which was nice. Are drinks got ordered and they didn’t show up until about 12 minutes later. Within that time we also got mozzarella sticks as an appetizer we didn’t have napkins or sample plates. We didn’t get the plates until after they were all eaten as well with are drinks. Then are food came after waiting and the noodles to the Alfredo were very dry you could tell they were not fresh it was as if they were sitting under a food lamp. I know the staff was trying their best but we will not be returning.
I got the sampler, and it was pretty good. That shark bowl drink was amazing! Definitely hit the spot. Staff was nice and restaurant was quiet and clean. My daughters fries were old but they replaced them with no problem.
We spent 20 minutes sitting at our table before anyone came over to even take our drink order. Then it was another 15 mins before we actually got the drinks and we decided we better order our food right away or we would be waiting forever. Turns out, we waited forever regardless. When we finally got our food, it had been done so long that it was cold and you could tell they tried to cover it up by microwaving it. The food was completely inedible after that and there was no way I was going to make my kids eat hard, dried up noodles with little to no sauce on them. DISGUSTING!! We watched everyone who was seated after us get their food about a half hour before we did. Needless to say, I do not recommend going to this restaurant and my family definitely will not be back. 80 dollars down the drain so don't waste your money!
Went there with mh hudband and 4 year old son. We were seated right away and greeted relatively quickly but then watched our server walk past us about 10 times without acknowledging us or getting our drinks. We ended up leaving because we didn't want to spend our entire night there.
My chicken bacon ranch sandwich was dry and tasteless. The bathroom was crusty and smelled of mildew. Prices were way to high for what it is. Service was fine and they didn't bother us though we were there for a long time.
Yeah seriously just not good food. I got the all you can eat boneless wings aka chicken nuggets, shrimp and riblets and it wasn't a wise choice. None of it was good and the fries sucked too. My own fault for ordering it. Also took 15 mins for me to get my beer. And our table was unbelievably sticky, even after being wiped down. Gross.
Never again.
