Restaurant was clean . Server was friendly and attentive but for some reason not sure if it was server or cook staff everything was in slow motion. And restaurant was not busy. Some food was hot warm and cold. It had good flavor. I did take advantage of half off appetizers from 9- close. And that was very tasty. Over all there’s room for improvement. Will return in hopes of a better review.
So this was the second time I have been here. Service was wonderful. Quick and respectful. Unfortunately, I understand accidents happen but I had a very large hair in the burger (circled in the photograph). While they quickly replaced the burger, there was not really an apology for it. There was no offer for compensation, other places have offered to remove that piece of food off the bill, a free desert, just some sort of compensation. Here, absolutely nothing but a mediocre apology. Really ruined the appetite. Another issue I have, and honestly this is not a location issue but an Applebees issue. The price of food compared to the portion is quite ridiculous. We had the Loaded waffle fries as an appetizer. For almost $11, the portion was very small. The taste was not the best. I’ve had better loaded fries from a gas station than here unfortunately. Honestly highly overpriced. Compared to other chain restaurants I have been at, Chilis is a great example the price and portions are pretty on par. Very disappointed. I would recommend highly considered where you want to spend your hard earned money, because Applebees is not the place.
First time at this location. We started with coffee and a Pepsi. The coffee was terrible. Even after 4 sugar packets it was still sour and bitter. Reminded me of bad Army coffee. I believe this is the first time I ever reported bad coffee in). The manager refunded the coffee. We also ordered the classic bacon cheese burger with fries which was excellent. Plus we ordered the chicken won ton tacos and the boneless wings extra hot buffalo. The tacos were excellent with juicy chicken and a light Asian flavor. The boneless wings were dry and not spicy or extra hot. In the end it was an ok meal. Since the prices were reasonable, we may try again in the future
Went for Half price apps, overall food was fine. The server messed up our order and half our food was brought to us 30 minutes later, I understand she was busy and new! Not a problem there. When I spoke to the manger he wasn’t very helpful, he did end up taking money off our bill for our hassle but wasn’t very pleasant to speak too. I’ll probably avoid this location and head to a different one next time. Food was fine, service left something to be desired, manager was only okay.
Have had Justin the last 2 times I’ve been here & he has been an amazing waiter. Will be requesting him in the future. Truly is so kind & very good at his job. Our first time having him he was still very new. He was great then & even better now!
Has the Blacken Shrimp Alfredo, very good. Atmosphere was nice. My waiter, Justin, was friendly and easy to talk to, he gave me details on some of the locate attractions since i was passing through. Very happy with my over all experience at this Applebee's.
This restaurant struggles to provide good quality food . The waitress was very overwhelmed by simple tasks . I will never return overall a horrible experience. We all came home unsatisfied with our experience. The whole point of going to a restaurant is to be able to order whatever you want and apparently that's too complicated only in monaca. I have no issues at any other locations. I strongly suggest going to another location.
Was told that they were out of boneless wings for the classic combo sampler. I asked if I could substitute regular wings. They said they absolutely could not do that and would offer $3 off instead. I don't understand where customer service has gone, but it isn't here. The main reason for coming was the appetizers to be honest. We left. I can't imagine losing a customer or a whole order because of a few cents or dollars. Bizarre.
