Absolutely disgusting food. The chicken Alfredo was probably the worst I've ever had. We came in with a party of 8 and all of the food was bad. Burgers were over cooked, pasted was over cooked and mushy but dry at the same time, the chicken was incredibly dry and burned. Deliveries were prioritized over dine in orders. Took 45 min to get our food and it was not busy at all. We have had some less than ideal experiences here every now and then but this was just gross and took a ridiculous amount of time. Our server, Dylan, did a good job. It was not his fault the kitchen couldn't get their act together.
Was working in Ottawa that day and decided to stop in. I haven't been to an Applebee's in a long time as most locations are less than desirable. This location is top notch. I was greeted by a very friendly hostess, seated and was then greeted by my server who was exceptionally friendly. The good was surprisingly good. I'll be back.
Atmosphere was fine. We had called ahead of time to reserve a large table, which was all set up when we got there. When it came time to order it was hectic with five grand kids giving the waitress their order. When the food arrived after a long wait three items were wrong kids upset and hungry . Made due with what was brought to us .
Took 15 minutes for the waitress to put in our order. We added on mozzarella sticks which she forgot to put in the order for. My son got the all you can eat rib, boneless wings and shrimp. After not putting in his order for the wings that were placed when she brought out the ribs and everyone already finished eating we had to request to go boxes. The air in the building must bot of been working properly as they were using a portable unit in the middle of the restaurant.
Food was decent. Burgers came out how we requested, a little pink. Boneless wing appetizer was hot, fresh and not overcooked. Fries were hot and crispy. Nobody likes cold, old fries. Server was very nice and attentive. Very much appreciated. Kitchen seemed a little slow but, it could have been we were seated at a beginning of a rush. This trip was better than our previous trips. The manager, I presume, was walking around talking to most of the guests, which was nice to see.
The food was great but the service was not good. Had to constantly ask for drink refills and was seated and waited 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order the appetizer was cold and hard, but the endless shrimp was good but took forever to get another
order and when we did there was six shrimp and maybe ten fries. But again the food was great when we got it.

She was the waitress we had, and she was abysmal. We waited for 30 min in the empty applebees for our food. I have no idea why she is still employed here. Absolutely terrible waitress. Never got a refill, never asked if we were doing okay. Absolutely terribe.
So gross. Bathroom reeked of sewer. Our booth was filthy. Carpet was dirty. Multiple Complaints from other tables. Staff was friendly. The AC did not work well if at all. The waitress appeared very uncomfortable from the stuffy and warm environment. She was friendly. I would not ever go back.
