Nice stop on our travels...Since we often choose local facilities, this was the exception. We found it clean,quiet and efficient...Rare for a chain these days...
The drinks we received were good for the price. Can't comment on the food, since after over an hour we never even received our appetizer that we ordered with the drinks. Service was dismal, and tables around that sat down 30-40 minutes behinds us received thier food.
Took advantage of their 2 for $29 meals as well as their $6 Halloween drinks! We were not disappointed. Their drinks were delicious with just the right amount of alcohol.
My ribs were tender and perfectly portioned. My mom ordered their bourbon chicken with shrimp and raved about it.
Our server was also very sweet. I don’t remember her name but she let us take all the time we needed, sipping on our drinks and enjoying our spinach and artichoke appetizer before taking our entree orders.
We always enjoy the food; it is consistent every time we go there which is nice because you know you will get a great meal every time you go. The service is also always excellent. We ask for Samantha because she is the BEST waitress…remembers previous orders, even when we haven’t been there in a month or so! She is attentive but not over bearing and always makes sure we have a cold drink to take home with us. We live in NC and we drive over an hour to eat here because it is worth the drive.
There must be a strategy to their all you can eat. Waited nearly 30min for our first plate. She was courteous enough to take our second order immediately. Took 15min to get it as we picked at our fries. Finally after almost getting full we decided to leave vs order (and wait) more. AND we (a couple) were the second to be seated. IF you choose to go here I hope your experience is better and would recommend ordering off their menu vs an ‘advertised promotion’
We did an online order with pick up at the restaurant. We ordered the whisky bourbon hamburger with fries and grilled chicken fettuccine with broccoli.
It was delicious!
They were to busy to acknowledge guests to be seated. Patron wise not busy. Stood there about 5 minutes. Now mind you, anyone at that time could have left without paying their check. So we left, and it took 3 phone calls to get them to answer their phone to speak to manager. He was quite dumbfounded. My last comment was. "Maybe you can run your business in the ground a lil bit more". His response was... "Wow." No, I'm sorry, no, it shouldn't be that way. Nothing but wow. We won't be back. To bad, so sad.
Service was good. Food was great. I’m a big fan of Applebees as I can get the same experience anywhere I eat at one. Had some wings to start and a ribeye medium rare with side of green beans and broccoli. Was cooked a little under but that’s my preference anyways.
