Best WLM Reviews
Visited this location with my wife last night and the service was phenomenal! From walking inside and being greeted by the young lady hostess to being seated by the manager who was really nice and accommodating. Our drinks were made to perfection, plus having our order done CORRECTLY! (A plus in the Columbia SC area) . The young man who waited on us was amazing, attentive and prompt. I definitely recommend giving this location a try despite the 3.9 stars.
We don't do Applebee's often. We really enjoyed everything with the exception of the mashed potatoes, they had no flavor.
Haven't been to an Applebee's in a while and well it's pretty much the same as always. Good food at a good price. Nothing too fancy and that's okay. Appetizers are always great here, artichoke dip is one of my favorites. Riblets are also an easy go to if you can't decide what to get.
Food was great! Service was slower than usual. It was around 9pm and not busy. No silverware on table, when soup came out, we were given spoons but no napkins. Otherwise, everything was fine.
It was awesome, the waiter made sure everyone was satisfied with everything. Kept our drinks full. The food was great. Not a lot of people in there on a Wednesday night. So for us customers that was good. Then we would be asked if we were ok. Not soo much of the waiters and waitresses though. Not enough tips coming in. When there isn't a lot of customers. But overall everything was great. Thank you Applebee's in Lexington SC for hiring a great staff. That pays attention to details and keeping the customers happy. In which help us the customers actually give a better tip than if it wasn't good.
In the past at other restaurants, I have left $10 and another I left a penny. I mean if the restaurant isn't busy where is the waitress at. Tea glass sitting at edge of table to be refilled almost the rest of the time you are there. So tip goes down. The thing about me. If I am by myself. The tip automatically starts at $5 depending on the service I get, it will go up or down. I mean I understand if the restaurant is busy, that is taken into consideration.
Crappy service, had to wait almost 45 minutes to be seated, was told short staffed. That is understandable. But our waiter kept walking past us, I got charged $3 for a sweet tea when I ordered a water. Also had to ask for a to go box 4 times before getting a completely different person to get us one. Also had to go ask the waiter where I was supposed to pay at after waiting for someone to come back for my card. I wouldn’t recommend this location. Should have stuck to the one in west Columbia.
I am surprised because it's unusual that I get to go to an Applebee's and they have good food and good service, that was really impressed. I said at the bar in my dreams were coming in like they were supposed to and then I ordered a 12 oz ribeye steak can I ask for a medium and it came out just the way I wanted it when I was very impressed and that's why I'm back again today tell me a couple of drinks and need another steak, how do you recommend this place can I travel a lot so it's hard to find a good Applebee's
My wife and I just had date night dinner at the Lexington Applebee's. We haven't been here in a few years due to several meals of so so service and food. Tonight was a reminder of the original Applebee's experience. Katherine provided awesome service as we enjoyed our Chicken Wonton Tacos and "Fancy Like" Bourbon Street Steak. No Oreo Cookie Shake but ice cold Yuenglings. Finally off of my naughty list.
Latest visit: good food and good service from Kailyn. My wife had the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp. Very tender breast. I had the Blackened Cajun Salmon. Both dishes were well seasoned. We were entertained by a cute 6 year old boy devouring a bottle of ketchup with his small burger and fries. 5 stars from him, also.
Latest visit: my wife had her Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp, again. I went the low carb route with a bunless Cheeseburger and Broccoli. Nicely cooked.
