We enjoyed our experience tonight at Applebees… though the restaurant needs to be somehow cleaner, maybe because it was a Saturday night.
Our waitress was very friendly, polite and helpful but we didn’t know her name.
The food in general was good, the combo platter was good . We ordered fish and chips, Alfredo chicken pasta, kids cheese burger and Tex- mex shrimp bowl. The bowl wasn’t as expected.
If you are looking to have a meal at an American eatery, Applebees could be one of those best!!!
Our waitress was amazing and attentive!! Food was terrible. Tried the new crispy chicken burgers. Breading tasted grainy and greasy. Took a small bite and instantly grossed me out. I wish I remembered the waitress name in the friant location. Gosh thanks for the professionalism and the service!!!! Hard to come across good service now a days!! You rock!
Enjoyed a fantastic night with great friends. We enjoyed all you can eat plates for $14.99 and Tipsy Cupid drinks. Food was hot and plentiful. Service was excellent. Busy busy location, felt a bit cramped but overall not a bad experience at all.
My Dad and I ended up at Applebee's today have not been in a minute, it was 1130 on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Nobody in the place but one person at the bar. We go to Chili's a lot near us for their 3 for 10.99, and I saw a commercial for either a bacon burger or big chicken sandwich for lunch with a drink 9.99. noticing the menu prices had changed on the 2 for 20 to 2 for 26$ that what we selected. We pointed to it on the menu as we ordered. The waitress didn't seem like she wanted to be there. Very few people in the place. When I was done eating she put the Zoosk in front of me and started operating it. I committed "wait why is it 23.00?" She rudely snapped back "He ordered another burger" my dad said he did not and I know I didn't want to push the envelope. Noticed also I was not charged for his soda ???? I usually mention that but at this point did not want to pay 26 plus tip. Strange place, we will still to Chili's
The food was pretty good. Service was good enough. There were just a lot of children running around. We waited about 40 mins for a table but it was fine they texted us when our table was ready.
I've been an Applebee's loyalist for years, and never had a bad server. However at this location the manager has segregated happy hour to only the bar area. Which is not on their official website to my knowledge. It was very odd and confusing. The manager did offer to move me and my party of four; however at that point it was too late to bother.
I recommend that if you are going for happy hour, vocalize it to the usher so that they can seat you at the bar area... Which may result in an extended wait time.
I hope that this weird rule is removed or the official website it updated to include that possibly.
The food and service was good, but our waiter failed to inform us that the appetizers we picked weren't part of happy hour. We came in for happy hour, were sat in the happy hour section, our waiter asked if we were there for happy hour, but when we got our bill our food wasn't half off, as it should have been. When I asked management she basically told me, that's not a happy hour appetizer, smiled at me, and walked away. I was stuck with a 40$+ check, which i was willing to pay, but it's incredibly disappointing and unfortunate that management won't attempt to make any compensation for their own staffs negligence.
