We had great service from Quelyn!
He was so friendly, attentive, and accommodating. I have a smell /taste disorder currently which means a lot of foods I can't taste properly, especially meat. I was able to order a few side dishes instead. Salad was perfect. Mac n cheese was good, coleslaw had some herb I didn't like but that's a personal preference. I was surprised though I was able to taste my daughter's hamburger! Couldn't believe it. Made my day.
Our group of 7 last week, including 2 children, had an awesome waiter, and I wish I would have asked his name because his customer service skills and memorization of all our orders was exceptional along with our food & the atmosphere! Many food options & appetizers to select from with decent prices. But the service of our waiter made the overall experience top notch!
Awkward greeting waited 15 minutes with 3 other tables seated in the restaurant. No big deal usually. Wait another 35 after ordering our appetizer to get it. Ordered wings we got tiny bit of sauce in chicken nuggets. Cook comes to another that’s sitting at the bar and signals to go to the back and smoke. Haven’t gotten our food yet neither another table. Halfway through eating our sub par meal we finally get the drinks we ordered at the beginning. Mine was not great. Not to mention the table across from us found a BUG IN HIS BEER! Multiple tables left before getting their food or even ordering. Waitress was v new. Under staffed was the excuse for everything, which I understand but they had 3 servers with 4 tables not anything crazy. the staff that is there doesn’t care, overwhelmed, or both. Spend money elsewhere.
I had Emily as my waitress on Saturday afternoon and she did amazing!! It looked pretty busy but she made sure our drinks were never empty and we had all we needed!! It’s nice to go out to lunch and have a waitress like her.
Our server, Jay, on 10/30/24 went above and beyond to make our dining experience a great one. Got refills without having to wait, joked around with my little one, and took the time to ensure our meal was great.
I usually enjoy coming to applebees and normally the service is good but today it was bad. I almost walked out the door. We came in waited at the door, took about 10mins or so before we got seated. No one noticed us standing there, workers looked at us no one came to the door. Finally the door greeter I'm assuming comes he says he'll clean the table then we can sit, instead he goes and takes someone else order, brings people drinks before seating us so we stand at the door even longer. They had waiters too. People seated after us got their drinks before I got mine, my drink was sitting at the bartender counter she kept walking by it finally she brings to me saying she forgot about my drink. We usually always get small plates with our appetizer they forgot them we had to ask. They forgot sauces that came with it. I couldn't eat I was upset so got a box and left
I'm seriously thinking I'm done with this store. Pieces of broccoli were bad, chicken so dry I couldn't eat it. The fettuccine was lacking sauce and flavoring. Added salt and pepper, but it still was bland. The oriental salad was only half a portion. Soggy and small with limited dressing. It is sad when the best part of dinner is the breadstick.
Food was good. Service was also good. HOWEVER, mold on the walls. Appeared that food was thrown on it and mold was now growing. Did point it out to server and she did tell manager. They gave us a discount which helps but doesn't solve the problem. Hope they clean it up.
